I have a dog that already has a pre-existing health condition. Is there an insurance company that will give my dog coverage?

I talked to these folks at a veterinary conference a few months ago and they did state that they accepted pets with pre-esixting conditions:

These are a couple other companies that my clinic deals with:

they will still give you coverage but your premiums may be higher and they will most likely not cover anything realted to that pre-existing condition. your best pet is pick up some insurance brochures at your vets and call the tool free numbers on them (they have reps that would love to discuss their policies with you) good luck :)

Do you have a Petsmart in your town? Petsmart owns a vet chain called Banfield...you pay a membership fee, like $70, and you can pick a plan level to cover whatever you feel you're going to need to be paying for. They charge monthly payments. I've been with them for three years, and have had bad experiences with the vets themselves (they're just not nice people!) but in your case, I'd say it might be something to look into.
