Other then tranqulizers from the vet has anyone given anything else to their pet to calm the pet down? Someone has mentioned Benadrel, has anyone used that for this purpose?

I have a hamster that is almost 3 years old. He is getting black spots on his neck (A little bit) and on his sides (on each side in the same spot and they look like black moles). What could they be from?

Also I am worried about him!

I have a 8 year old black lab he has had like bad dreams all his life like wineing and like twiching we never really thought about telling the vet but now its getting really bad and i dont know what it could be we had him since he was a puppy and he hasnt been though no tram he is a really good dog very health we treat him so good i love him to death but my mom said with him nightmares that it look like he is goin to flip is stomache can that really happen?? The next time i got to the vet i will get it cheacked out but does any one know what it could be??

Our two female cats (Laxy and Solo) are almost a year old. Solo got out a while ago and we thought she was lost for good. We took in a male kitten (Bork) and then Solo reappeared! Bork growls at the cats and they stalk and attack him, especially Solo. Will they get over this or do I have to find a new home for Bork? I hope not, we love him.

We just got a dog who runs away whenever off leash. We would like to get an underground fence. Walmart carries a fence that is much cheaper than the brand Petsmart carries? Has anyone had experience with either underground fence?

I have 2 girls - 5 & 8. We're interested in getting a larger breed of dog which needs moderate exercise, & is good with kids. Ideally would like to find an older one (not puppy) from a shelter, not interested in going through a breeder.
