My question is how long to those types of pigs live and are there any common diesese among pigs? What could Harley have died of? He was cranky(real cranky) a few months before he died...Let me know. Thank you

usually about 12-16 years . Did your pig have a check-up at the vets office,they dont require any shots unless you take them around other pigs like at fairs or shows. They commonly get bad teeth if you dont brush them, an abcessed tooth can cause a systemic infection,they will almost allways eat even with a bad tooth,but it can make them very cranky . pigs can get cancer,develop kidney problems or any other illness that any animal can get. You have my deepest sympathy

Poor piggy. 12-16 years sounds about right, so at least he lived a full life.

Maybe you should have researched this before you got the pig.
