I wouldn't worry about it. Both my dogs have what looks like nightmares all the time. One of them gets them to where she'll start kicking, crying.....She looks like she's getting hurt or something. But she's fine when she wakes up. I think the dogs know it's just a dream, or don't remember anything at all. It's really nothing.

i used to be a time-honored right here yet took a destroy via each and all of the nonsense that replaced into right here and now i'm back....for now. Professionally? i'm taking classes to alter right into a veterinarian technician- that's almost my dream interest ever considering the fact that i got here upon i basically won't be able to alter right into a veterinarian. i do no longer understand a piece approximately grooming no longer in all threat. My yorkie can attest to that ;). which would be something i could desire to do on the edge, how you could groom haha different then in basic terms a shave down. different then that, i've got volunteered at shelters and characteristic different studies with canines. i replaced right into a important e book malicious application in common and severe college and examine and breathed canines and each thing approximately canines. different then that its basically extremely elementary experience. Like its elementary experience that canines could have genetic ailments basically like we human beings do...as a result the desire for wholesome breeding as a result the desire for genetic finding out. i'm commonly too lazy to place my "source" down.

Has your dog ever been to combat. It could be post traumatic stress. Or it could be he got his butt kicked really bad by a bigger dog and he is really scaredy cat, that causes his bad dreams. Or maybe he is possessed! Does he sleep in the same room as you. Maybe he is an alien dog from another planet.

What makes you think it's a nightmare?

My dogs dream all the time and I assume they are just thinking about their favorite activity... chasing squirrels.

They move their feet like they're running and let out muffled whines and barks and I just know they're dreaming that they finally caught that fat squirrel that teases them from the other side of the sliding glass door.

dogs dream all the time. both of mine do. they both occasionally bark in their sleep even - it is very funny i think. it always confuses the other one to see what they are barking at. sometimes they get pretty animated while they are dreaming - i will often pet them to calm them down if they are really moving around.
