I have been dying to make this for my cat, but I'm pretty sure she'd kill me in my sleep for just thinking about it... It is and easy pattern, adjustable for any size animal, and should do the trick on those nippy days. Good luck keeping your baby warm!

google "free knitting patterns dog sweaters" and you should come up with lots of them I have a few but I don't have a dog so I have never made any of them. They look relatively simple.

As for your other lingering answer up there... Oh sure no problem, I would rather have my poor bald little chinese crested freeze his little balls off through a hard Kansas winter for the sake of all that is well and good.
Mankind bred these poor little things out of their natural ability to handle the outside elements the way that they should!
Some of these poor little guys don't do anything but shiver from the air conditioning.

As for the sweater pattern, there are some here https://www.lionbrand.com/cgi-bin/register.fcgi?url=http://cache.lionbrand.com/patterns/kfancyf-dogSweater.html

Good luck!
