My girl kitty is Sweetie McSweeterson and has the cutest little meow, likes to sit on my lap, bumps her head up whenever you pet her, and is the cutest, softest lil poofball you'll ever meet. My boy is Bratty McBratterson who meows all the time, doesn't like to cuddle or sit on my lap, gets the most attention and is connected to my soul (we were meant to be together...). Anyway, he's just a brat! He beats up on his sister anytime she gets some love, gets what he wants, when he wants, tries to trip me when i'm walking, and follows me everywhere. He's jealous, i'm aware of that, but does he have to be such a butthole?!

YES he does, it's a male thing. no i have some of the sweetest male kitties just like sweetie mcsweeterson(glad i'm not the only one to make up funny names for my cats) anyway i have one male that i bottlefed from 3 weeks of age after someone abandoned a litter at a fire station. he was and still is so spoilt. he hasn't had to fight for a single crunchie in his 4 years. he will only eat gerbar baby meat in lamb flavor mixed with purina kitten crunchies. he will growl if any of his brothers or sisters come within 2 feet of him and his bowl(he would be the poster cat of BRAT) look up brat in the dictionary and Simon The Piemans picture will be in there. he is a huge black cat with light emerald eyes and the shinniest smoothest fur to rival satin, he looks so regal. he looks down his nose at everyone as if they are inferior. boy did i make a rod for my back with this monkey boy. he will stalk and attack the other cats and when i chastize him he thwacks me with his paw for my insolence. i cant help but laugh though cause he is so dang cute( have you ever heard an english woman say "dang"? i'm english and i cant believe i just used the word dang) so, just live in the fact that you are not alone and that Simon The Pieman is probably a long lost relation to your Bratty Mcbratterson. and a hug, please, all i get is this plaintive wingy wail if i force a hug on him. BRAT! sometimes i force a hug on him just to annoy him. he gets me back though, maybe not then but definiately later with a slap accross the ankels as i go by. oh yes and what is that thing cats do, the walk between your feet and when you think you are going to trip they go to make a move to go the other way out of the way of your feet then change their minds and go back so they end up getting kicked in the head and they run away as if you have beaten then deliberately? oye!

he is only doing it for attention. Male cats are really territorial and unfortunately some turn into little brats whenever the competition is around... Nothing you can do besides treat them the same, but if he doesn't like to cuddle and the other does then spend extra time playing with him, get him some new toys to show him you care. It may or may not help- some cats are just brats!

sounds just like my 2 cats one we call brat cat and the other one is just so sweet but ranger the brat cat wont shut up and has to have her way all the time like who gets food first and who goes out the door first ur just going to have to live with it

He has a dominating personality....kinda like a bully. My one female cat likes to walk in front of me and make me change directions. It's their way of calling the shots.
