the people who owned her didnt want her,i dont mind as she is cute,ive had a lot of cats over the years but never a kitten so small,she seems happy and im playing with her and giving her lots of love.the man who didnt want her said she likes ham and soft cheese,is it ok to give these to kittens so small.im wary to give her these things but im i just being paranoid

We took our cat to the vet because he was urinating on the floor and there was blood in his urine. She said it was from "crystals" and told us he had to have a certain type of food now. She suggested Hills Perscription Diet c/d (what they carried). This 4 pound bag cost $12!! Are there other LESS EXPENSIVE brands?

And if anyone else's cat has had the same problem and "solution" (he has already been given antibiotics), how long did you continue this diet for?

My 7 month old female Shizhu killed one of the four puppies of my daughter's dog 's litter. Also the mother of the 17 day old puppies is the mother of my Shihzu. The mother of the puppies had the litter at my house and while the puppies were left unattended for a few minutes this is when she killed one of the puppies. Both my daughter and I are shocked and saddened by this horrible incident and would just like to know why a little dog would do such a thing.

Aside from the possibility that this is just his obsessive behavior, I've tried to rule out the possibility of allergies. Some vets suggest to give dogs Benadryl and I've given our dog a pill each morning and night for the last week but with no luck so far. His food (Purina Dog Chow) has been the same so I can't see that his licking was related to food allergies.

This behavior has gotten increasingly worse and I'm just about desperate for help. Is there some kind of ointment that I can put on his paws that will work? (and also not stain carpet) I am open to other suggestions as well, like I said, I am just about desperate. Thanks in advance for the suggestions.

I want to get a mixed breed puppy, so let's say I know his weight and/or height at around 3 months old, is there a way to approximate his adult height & weight?

I am aiming for a dog that will be about halfway between a beagle and a lab in size.
