Just like any pregnant female, give her the best and as much as she wants. Kitten chow is good for pg momcats. Spay and neuter unless you will provide a home for all she may produce. In her lifetime that could be thousands if you include kittens of kittens.

Pregnant cats should be on KITTEN FOOD... and they need to be on it until the kittens are weaned - preferably a good quality kitten food - the ones sold in grocery stores or Wal Marts are all LOW QUALITY - high in filler - low in nutrition so the cat has to eat a lot more than it should - better foods use CHICKEN MEAL, TURKEY MEAL, or LAMB MEAL as their first ingredient, Rice Second....
lower quality foods use CORN as a cheap filler and BY Products which are beaks feet and feathers
DO NOT GIVE HER ANY MILK (cats should never have milk really) DO NOT GIVE HER ANY FISH (fish contributes to urinary tract problems - specifically the calcuim does)
She should be on the kitten food until her kittens are weaned at 6-8 weeks then put on CRAP FOOD (like Tender Vittles for 2 days) to "dry her up" then back to regular adult cat food...
again preferabley a good kind
please spay her asap... I mean there are literally THOUSANDS of kittens and cats put to death every day because of lack of homes for them, and even if your kittens find homes it means somebody elses did not... "free to good home" kittens RARELY find good homes.

It certainly would not hurt. If you look at most kitten food, it will also state that it is good for pregnate and lactating mothers. Higher in calcium and other things that will help support mommy while she is supporting the kittens. If you really want to know more, speak with your vet.

Feed her kitten food. It has extra nutrients. Continue feeding it while she is nursing. When the kittens are weaned, get her spayed!!!! And make sure the kittens are going to homes that will have them spayed/neutered. Pet overpopulation is not cute.

Kitten food, it has more nutrients in it. Also when its getting closer for her to have her kittens and also after while she is nursing its good to give her replacement milk (what you would give a motherless kitten). I went through this 6 weeks ago and this info came straight from my vet.

once she's about one and a half to 2 months along she should be switched over to a high quality kitten food... and should remain on this until the kittens are weaned.

YES. If they dont get the right nutrition, then the kittens won't get the right nutrition. The results could be unhealthy, weak, tiny kittens. ( some could come out dead).
