Gerry: "Yes my friend, we will look after your 3 children"

If the McCanns had been babysitting OTHER's kids and left them how culpable would they have been then in EVERYONE's eyes?

I am shocked. Did you know you can buy knives right over the net with no background check or ID?

Kids in school are GIVEN knives every day during lunch...right at the time they are all conglomerated and can do the most damage on a rampage!

This insanity HAS to stop. I am calling for immediate knife control. No more assault knives with sharp edges, because they're designed to kill. Only one knife per person per month...why would you need more? All knives are to be registered and those owners who don't are thrown in jail as the dangerous felons they are.

THINK OF THE CHILDREN!

In the middle east, women are allowed few liberties. If they were allowed more freedom, I believe 9/11 could have been prevented. Think about it: Guys, what would your wife say if you said to her: "Hey hon, I'm gonna go ram a plane into a skyscraper, I'll see ya around." She'd have told you to shut up and go to the store cause you're out of milk and bread and she needs tampons. And you'd go do it.

I believe that if there were a more maternal influence allowed in the middle east, things wouldn't be nearly so bad. Women, you temper the insane ideas of your men. You keep us grounded here on earth so we don't do stuff like get too wrapped up in our religions, cause we gotta mow the yard and pay the rent next month. Don't have time to make car bombs and sh*t. Is there anything to this? Maybe we don't need democracy in Iraq? Maybe we just need to turn the women loose with some rolling pins? What do you guys think?

Andrew Speaker has got to be one of the most selfish SOB's in america...does anyone agree that charges should be filed against this man. He's a Lawer, Doesn't this idiot know the risk that he put a lot of people in? I wonder if this is the level of inaccurate reporting that is being relied upon by the so-called "intellectual" McCann supporters on this website..
The Sun editor states [and I quote verbatim]

1) That Ben "Fordham" went missing in Crete... doesn't he mean Ben Needham?

2) That Ben's mother is looking at every 22 year old in the street wondering if that was her son. Thats strange considering Ben would now be 17 years old and not 22 years old?

3) That Madeleine McCanns parents were 40 Yards / 36 Metres AWAY FROM THE HOTEL ROOM - gosh doesn't the distance diminish??
... amongst other inaccuracies.......

Now let me see who was the most articulate and reasoned interviewee - the writer for the Independent or the former Sun Editor???? Who proved to be the overbearing bully during this interview with Jeremy Paxman..... ??

Is this the sort of inaccurate dross [emanating from the tabloids] that people are relying upon for their stories.....

MSNBC took polls of residents of Coastal towns and asked them about the upcoming hurricane season and how they were preparing. Im assuming there were several different polls taken, as these don't equal 100%. But check this out

After being told that 13-17 named storms would come about this season, 3-5 becoming major hurricanes, and at least one hitting the U.S. this is what people said:

88% Said they have taken no steps in fortifying their homes.

16% Said that if told to evacuate they would refuse.

53% Said they didn't think they were vulnerable, so they wouldn't prepare.

61% Said they never thought of getting a hurricane survival kit.

What is wrong with these people!? Was Katrina not bad enough? I guaruntee none of these people lost someone on that hurricane. How can people be so stupid and so naive?

He's back on bourbon. She has had it. Laura has fled the White House and is living at the Hay-Adams Hotel. She's moved in because she couldn't stand his drinking. He's back on the 80 Proof. The 29 year BUSH marriage had collapsed into bitterness as the first couple headed for divorce. Was confirmed by a former White House staff member who is still close to Mrs. BUSH. Its not the first time she has fled the White House. Despite the Presidents drinking and her suspicions that he was cheating on her with Secretary of State Rice. This has been reported in the May 14 issue of the GLOBE 2007...

They finally get it.....but we'll have to see if they continue to fight Al-Qaeda and not America. If they continue to fight Al-Qaeda and not America, we need to give them a pass and we need to leave after Al-Qaeda is destroyed.

Can I get an Amen?

(news article) http://news.yahoo.com/s/csm/20070601/ts_csm/atoll

Senior Military Analyst Michael O'Hanlon in Washington:

"If that [a sustained level of violence from insurgents and terrorists] continues, what it means is that you're not actually weakening them, but you're just allowing them to regenerate, and they are capable of doing so...If the intensity continues ... then it looks like a strategy that is ultimately futile...It is possible that you could have progress and not see US fatality rates go down for a while, but I think it's relatively hard to imagine that we would start losing 100 people a month for the summer and be able to term this strategy successful."

afterall the guy's Pa-in-law is a Disease Control Admin. for the Gov't..and why did he decide to sneak into the Country through
Canada?..

"His father-in-law is Robert C. Cooksey, a research microbiologist at the CDC, Cooksey said in a statement issued today by the CDC. Cooksey, who has worked for the agency for 32 years and holds a position in the division of Tuberculosis Elimination, said Speaker's infection had no connection to the CDC. He said he didn't advise his son-in-law to travel while ill. "

Bloomberg News..6/1/07

my guess is a budget-windfall request from the CDC..to upgrade Homeland Security or to ridicule it to gain agency domain over border screenings for incoming legal visitors..

but to continue to look the other way when it comes to illegal workers..
(who for an example.. are completely responsible for the outbreak of Bedbugs..in the US but never referenced as the source.)

In my mind, the day they chose to wilfully neglect their parental responsibilities and expose their daughter to untold terror is the day they forfeited their rights to have me write only 'kindly' words about them.

Get real people. You need to start thinking more about Madeleine and what shes going through rather than her parents. And no the two points arent necessarily entertwined. It IS possible to want to find Madeleine but still be against the parents.

What part of that do the McCann supporters have trouble understanding?
