I am shocked. Did you know you can buy knives right over the net with no background check or ID?

Kids in school are GIVEN knives every day during lunch...right at the time they are all conglomerated and can do the most damage on a rampage!

This insanity HAS to stop. I am calling for immediate knife control. No more assault knives with sharp edges, because they're designed to kill. Only one knife per person per month...why would you need more? All knives are to be registered and those owners who don't are thrown in jail as the dangerous felons they are.

I share your outrage. Did you know that when you get on an airplane they actually give you a knife and fork as well? Ok, granted, they're usually plastic on US-based air carriers, but still they can do some damage.

Yet, you missed the bigger picture. Rope. Yes, ROPE! You can buy it without a license in almost any store. You can garrote people with rope, hang people with rope, drag them behind a car with rope and, worst of all, tie people up with rope.

Any nobody is doing anything about it.

What is mindblowing is that homeowners are not required to keep "locked rope cabinets" at their homes. This allows rope to be stolen right from the backyards of unsuspecting homeowners to be used by unscrupulous people committing heinous crimes. Don't even get me started on kite string or worse...heavy weight paper. You can inflict really nasty cuts with that stuff.

Ok, all joking aside, if the country continues down this "Chicken Little" path which includes stocking up on duct tape and plastic sheeting, you could see them outlaw almost everything eventually.

Its getting ridiculous.

where is the fear that the government should impliment on the us citiens so they are to fearful to commit these atrosities. if the death penealty was given to these people who commit these crimes more often then people would be to afraid to commit violent acts in this country. the prison population in this country is more then any where else in the world. other countries do not have problems like this country because the punishment is justly given in most countries. exa,ple. there are millions of child molesters and sex offenders in this country. if they knew they faced castration or death then people would stop doing it. fear is the only thing that works for people. being kind just sends the message go ahead do bad things we will be leinient on you and for the less violent offenders they go to prison with these nutt bags and end up getting raped or murdered for something less serious.
