So thanks to Bush and the Department of Homeland Security, another terror plot has been spoiled and we still have not been attacked at home since 9/11. Now will the libs and hippies finally see that we are at war with terror and the bad guys are still out trying to kill us. We cant just bring home the troops, sing Koombya, and live happily ever after. We must continue rooting out terror at the source countries and protecting the homeland from illegals and anyone else who shouldnt be here.

So keep on with the hate bush anti war protests while the real americans keep puting their lives on the line to protect the country and freedoms that allow you to do this. I wonder how many protest Al Quida would allow

ok...first, there is no "why", he was crazy. yes i said it. i know its not "politically correct", but that guy was defective, and thats that. grow up, and accept the fact that some that walk among us are bad, horrrible souls...and therapy, reaching out, hand holding and fear of offending people is creating a perfect environment for evil to exist. the fact that students at tech put a 33rd memorial stone out is a perfect example of how passive we are. WHY ????he was responsible, a murderer, who took 32 lives and punked his way out when the law was closing in.yet some feel that hes a "victim" too? NO. i live in bburg and have always been a hokie.... and i understand the need 4 the community to want to help. but why should millions of dollars be raised for these families when senseless killings happen every day ... my mother was murdered 6 years ago.... a good friend was shot to death in a parking lot 15 yrs ago.... 19 year old kids die EVERY DAY overseas... whats happening to our country?

i saw recently that some law makers in Texas are trying to impliment the death penalty as a punishment for sexually molesting a child in their state. That got me thinking. I am a child molestation survivor myself.i wondered if the death penalty would deter that crime as little as it does murder. i appareciate the sentiment, but would it really make a drop in the bucket as far as future offenders are concerned?

Sounds pretty great to me.. being able to pick & choose those aspect of the faith which most appeal to me [ problem is that I'm an atheist.. guess that won't matter either! ]
Ok so here we have it:

a) They are "devout Catholics" yet chose to have IVF to conceive all of their children, despite the fact that this is against the Canons of the Catholic faith...

b) They are now consulting psychics... Wait a minute let me quickly consult Paragraphs 2115-2117 of the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

--------------------
2115
God can reveal the future to his prophets or to other saints. Still, a sound Christian attitude consists in putting oneself confidently into the hands of Providence for whatever concerns the future, and giving up all unhealthy curiosity about it. Improvidence, however, can constitute a lack of responsibility.

This would've been worse than 9/11! GAW!
It would've blown up a jet fuel artery &&
that airport is in the neighborhood of a
bunch of tall buildings where people live
and work! When will the liberals ever learn?
Do we have to let another 9/11 happen for them
to see the truth?

When Mrs McCann was interviewed and asked to describe Madelline she responded by saying "she had her moments". This little girl could be in the hands of a monster who is torturing her. She could be laying dead somewhere. She could have wandered out of the open patio door fallen down a ditch or a manhole and died a terrible slow and agonising death. No one knows what happened too her. Hopefully she is alive and well. It makes me feel sick to my stomach and chokes me up and she is not even my child but I feel for this little girl. Never before in my 40 years have I ever got so worked up about a subject. All the mother can say is she had her moments. If it was my little girl I would be crying for the lost moments. Not thinking of her bad points if indeed a small child can have any. My husband and I can't have any children but we would both cut off our right arms to have a daughter like Madelline. What a wicked wicked woman Kate McCann is.

If you haven't heard about it, the makers of the Dutch version of Big Brother were supposed to be making a show in which the prize was a woman's kidney. The woman in question was apparently dying of cancer and she had to interview four people who needed the kidney before choosing who to donate it to. Now, I thought at the time that this was sick enough.

However, it came out in the news today that the whole thing was a hoax. The "dying" woman was an actress and the "contestants" (who, for the record, are actually waiting for organs) were in on it. Apparently the whole thing was intended to highlight the shortage of organs. Now, is it just me or does anyone else think this was one of the sickest stunts ever? Surely they could've found a better way to publicise this kind of thing.

This poor man - Andrew Speaker, the Atlanta-area lawyer suffering from TB. The whole world – especially the national news programs - is treating him like an alien, it’s stupid & ridiculous. I highly think he did not do this intentionally to harm anyone, however he has apologized for his actions. Seriously, have we taken heed to every suggestion the doctor told us when we were ill? More than likely, no. All jokes aside.. Tuberculosis is a serious (and possibly fatal in this case) respiratory disease if not medically treated right away. People need to stop being pissed at this guy, accept his apology and move on. We all become ill – some worse than others, but eventually in time we feel better. And I hope this man does too.

Stop with the “how could you?” & “what were you thinking”. Just pray for a speedy and quick recovery so he will not be isolated from his newlywed and his close family & relatives.

Heres his stats

Appearances - 96
Goals - 17
Goals direct from free kicks - 6

Not very impressive since he has been our SOLE free kick taker for about 6 years now.

Lets compare him shall we?

Steven Gerrard

Appearances - 56
Goals - 12

Only 5 goals behind Beckham with 40 less appearances

Frank Lampard

Appearances - 54
Goals - 12

Once again only 5 goals short with 42 games in hand.

Bobby Charlton

Appearances - 106
Goals - 49

Kinda thrashes Beckhams record

To cut a long story short, from my research of current players David Beckham has one of the least impressive internation records the only exception being Joe Cole who is likely to be on Par with Beckhams goal tally when equal games are played.

Isn't it time that 'England' fans actually start paying attention to the form than the media?

Beckham has got some highly crucial goals for england, that cannot be doubted, but his record is mediocre at best.

Beleive the stats, trash the hype.

I just read an article regarding this and I am fuming!

These people need to be stoned!! I understand that this is a free country, freedom of speech, yada yada. But there should be a line.
I'm not judging whether they should or shouldn't be picketing, but at a soldier's funeral!? This is a day for the family to put their child, husband, father, brother to rest, and to honor his life & ultimate sacrifice. It shouldn't be used as a tool to exploit your selfish views of politics, religion, or whatever it may be. There are MUCH more appropriate & effective places to carry on w/ your precious picketing. This is a deliberate & undeserved slap in the face to the family of the fallen soldier. They should be honored in the highest manor, & not have to see such disrespect on possibly the worst day of their lives.

I'm not usually a violent person, but if it were my family, I believe I would have to go and (b)itch slap every last one of them!!!

Isn't there any way they can be stopped?

There was a terror plot to bomb various parts of JFK that was luckily unfoiled by federal authorities. Thank god that the terrorists were not successful.

But now I can't help but wonder, what does this have to do with the notion that we should stay on the offensive in Iraq so the terrorists don't "follow us home." This thought is just absurd because:

1) There are terrorists all over the world, including the U.S., and don't forget the ones in Afghanistan and Pakistan who attacked us on 9/11.

2) Why can't terrorists come to Amercia while we are in Iraq. Are we stopping every single one from stepping on a plane to the U.S. by fighting a war there???

3) So the most important solution to stopping terrorists from coming to the U.S. is enhanced Homeland Security, extremely strict illegal immigration restrictions, screening of 100% incoming cargo.

Bush is an evil dictator and he has drawn so much hatred for the U.S. that we are more of a target from terrorists then before.
