I dont understand it. Alot of people assosiate the radical terrorists with the religion of Islam, becuase these terrorists HAPPEN to be muslim.
There are loads of Bhuddist and Christian and Hinu etc terrorists.
So if you need to make a statement of a religion being evil, be fair and say all of religions are evil.cos they are all alike.
EVERY religion is basicly the same, plus or minus a few stories...

I just dont get it...can any of you help me out?

It has been revealed today that the money raised from Maddy;s fund is already helping OTHER kids that are missing, So will you people who keep having a go at Maddy's parents take note??

I doubt it, It will stop the said people being so "big" and "clever"

You all said it was all about them and they have now shown different, As i have said before they know they did wrong and maybe the way they have gone about it is wrong, but to them it obviously feels right!

So fair play to them, we all hope she is found safe and well.

If it was your kid missing (whatever the circumstances) you would also want as much publicity as the McCanns are achieving and this fund may end up helping 1000's of kids in the coming years

Please Star If you agree

I will ignore all nasty responses as I am simply asking a question nothing more. I am British by the way but have travelled around the USA where their attitude seems to be a bit more pro-active when it comes to child care.

I have looked at many, many forums both British and American and whilst the American forums condemn the actions of the McCanns the British forums for the most part seem to either want to disguise that this has happened, state that it was a little error, or simply overlook the point completely by saying "what is done is done".

I am not pro or anti anything. I am asking a question and abusive responses which I have seen a lot of on this forum will simply be ignored..

The question again is do you feel it is ok to leave children under a certain age by themselves. If so under what circumstances?? I have my own thoughts on this matter ...

following on from a question posted by Marie S about a Maddy day, I hunted around the for the article about this.

The article is here:

http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/world/europe/article1875580.ece

I think the article speaks for itself and about how tasteless this campaign has become ......... maybe they will have Madeleine Dolls in shops in time for Christmas.

That way, no-one could be abducted without anyone knowing where they were. I know people would say it violates human rights, but look how many people go missing every year.

I bet you that when Maddie is found there will be so many so called "medium's" out there that say they had a feeling that is where she was!!!! Why can't they say where they think she is/ or where she is now?

There are numerous nasty questions about his man. He was told he should stay in the US and be treated for TB, he chose to follow thru with his plans and get married. Then he gets a phone call saying, you have a rare and deadly form of TB stay there and get treatment. He freaked. He didn't want to be treated in a foreign country-he had no knowledge the CDC was coming to get him. So, he decided to save his own life and get home. You would have done the same. Which of you wants to be responsible when this man commits suicide????

Mrs. Cindy Sheehan, Iraq War protestor, said that Americans are more interested in the results of "American Idol" than on how many people are dying in the war. Why do you think is that? How come Americans protested so feverishly during Vietnam, but have been rather quiet this time around?

Democrats are following an order by the House Appropriations Committee chairman to keep the bills free of such earmarks until it is too late for critics to effectively challenge them.

The House-Senate compromise bills due for final action in September cannot be amended and are subject to only one hour of debate, precluding challenges to individual projects.

Rep. David Obey insists he is reluctantly taking the step because Appropriations Committee members and staff have not had enough time to fully review the 36,000 earmark requests that have flooded the committee
What Obey is doing runs counter to new rules that Democrats promised would make such spending decisions more open.

1.) Isnt this the same tax and spend that hasnt worked since the Johnson administration and the first of the liberal economic cancer?
2.)How much more of this do WORKING americans have to put up with from Nancy P.?

A 9 year scientific study [discussed in a 2007 book] poses the epic battle between the 2 sides in an entirely new light and grounds - throwing it entirely open to full-scale debate ... a REAL debate!!!

Author, scientist-discoverer, Denis Towers, himself an anatomist and kinesiologist has discovered that snakes and humans are the precise antithesis of one another - both, applied anatomically and behaviorally.

The conclusion drawn over this study is that this fact, of itself, expresses 'deliberation of design' and is just not possible over all the potential genetic random mutations via the theory of evolution ... that is, if we were to believe evolution!!

The other conclusion drawn by those involved is that this Breakthrough discovery in the debate tends to strongly support the Biblical Adam & Eve account, which involved the snake [its body assumed by Satan] setting Man in opposition to God.
God cursed the snake in a manner to make it opposite man in all things!!

Yes, Dr. Death is a free man. Our wonderful system of government here in Michigan is working well. And then there's the extra added value of the local news reporters trying to put the next feather in their cap by getting in his face. I have my opinions of his past deeds, but yesterday he looked very tired. Perhaps some compassion is warranted even though I am thouroughly against what he stands for. (killed 'em in the back of a van for chrissake!)
Opinions? Bring it on...

Is Palestine truly the home of the Eastern-European Jews? (keep in mind that research shows that these people are not related to the Jews who lived in Palestine before 1948). Should the Palestinians accept the situation and be absorbed by neighboring Arab countries? Should Europe have aided the Jews in their immigration into Palestine? Should the USA be aiding either side?

I'd love to hear BOTH sides of the argument, because i come from a Palestinian, Lebanese, and Iraqi family. I am an american however :).

I asked who China ever invaded besides Tibet (which was 50 years ago BTW).

According to some of you history geniuses China invaded India, Vietnam, Mongolia, Laos, Cambodia, Korea.

Well I guess the Chinese Communist world domination military menace got stopped in their tracks by every one of these pathetic 3rd world countries. As far as I know they are all independent sovereign nations.

Fact is the India and Vietnam "invasions" were ancient border disputes, especially India. They never invaded Laos or Cambodia at all. North Korea about to be conquered by USA's counter invasion of their own invasion of the South (not China's invasion) welcomed China into the Korean War. They did not invade. Mongolia? Jeeeezus...you people!!

As for Taiwan, China could have destroyed them years ago and the USA could do nothing about it. They are no interested in invading Taiwan. They will assimilate them.China is becoming far more capitalist these days. Dictatorship spells its own doom.

The way the borders are now, Palestine is over. Gaza Strip is in ruins. There is nothing there. West Bank has been taken over by Israel. All the best land in West Bank is in Israeli control. The Israelis have built walls and settlements there. The Palestines in the West Bank are all divided by these walls so that there are really 3 main Palestinian camps. And walls within those walls. Palestinians in the West Bank are all separated, they can't even move about. In the West Bank, Israelis roam more freely than the Palestinians, it's basically all Israeli controlled.

It's over. Someone get those people out of there, it's the least the UN could do. What are they waiting for?

My hometown of Galesburg, IL has made national news recently after 5 students from the Galesburg High School class of 2007 were denied their diplomas. This is supposedly to curb rowdy and inappropriate behavior at the ceremony.

Read the story and whats your opinion on the subject? Think about how you would feel...
