It has been revealed today that the money raised from Maddy;s fund is already helping OTHER kids that are missing, So will you people who keep having a go at Maddy's parents take note??
I doubt it, It will stop the said people being so "big" and "clever"
You all said it was all about them and they have now shown different, As i have said before they know they did wrong and maybe the way they have gone about it is wrong, but to them it obviously feels right!
So fair play to them, we all hope she is found safe and well.
If it was your kid missing (whatever the circumstances) you would also want as much publicity as the McCanns are achieving and this fund may end up helping 1000's of kids in the coming years
Please Star If you agree

If this were in fact the case you would think that the first place the McCanns would announce this would be on there website:
http://www.bringmadeleinehome.com/local/
NOPE NO MENTION OF IT THERE!!!

Its not about the money - its about the missing kids being in the public eye: at the moment its the Gerry and Kate show with them only mentioning Maddie as an after thought!! So I definetly dont expect them to put themselves out to actually mention other missing children or put a couple of photos of them up on their website.
I would love it if these pair, that didnt want the expense of a baby sitter but were still willing to pay for nights out, were to suddenly help other parents in the same position, but I dont see it off these selfish, poor excuses for parents
Avie - Grow up!!!! Just because you are born somewhere it doesnt make you hard you ****. I was born in East London - you dont see me coming over all gangster and threatening to nail someone to a pool table!!! I wouldnt tar all scottish parents with being as piss poor at parenting as those twats
RufusTfirefly - I live in Scotland and I agree 100% with Dave S. I take you and Avie are from the same sinkhole with that attitude.

They should not have left the 3 children alone in the apartment,2 of them babies, not even for a short time. I am sure they are very aware of this fact. Its never happened again, and we all make mistakes as we go through life,I know I do. We cant expect them to be crying and apologising all the time can we.

Remember Live-8? All those promises and pledges of money? Guess what. That's right loads of them have never coughed up.
It's the TEAM McCANN (PLC) World Circus, the point being, while we all look at their multiple acts in their 3-ring circus we miss the two clowns, Gerry & Kate.

When I grew up my parents taught me that I should share and consider other people and put people first and mind my manners. If I was eating a kit kat in front of people I should offer kit kats first to others and then eat. If there was not enough then I am to go without...this is the basis for lesser greed
I was apalled when my class in sixth form criticised a senior teacher not because he could not be understood but because of his accent...in so far as they wanted a replacement....this was appalling because my values and that of my previous school said thats life and accept it ..there will be many challenges inlife and you must deal with those because you cannot go through life without challenges and thinking you can complain and things will be changed upon request and made easier for you...a student doesnt come before the teacher...this is the basis for tolerance....
So if my child went missing I would crucify myself for not protecting her and wouldnt blame the abductor since her abductor is not responsible for my child....I wouldnt also take the EVERY MAN FOR HIMSELF approach at this time....
which is manipulate the media to my own advantage to get my daughter back and set a precedent the size of Mount Everest so that every susequent parent of stolen child might think this is what is a) needed and b) what we should expect....by the way there is no Insurance on children and what is being metred out by the generous public is very comforting.....because when the dust has settled on my daughters case I must live with the fact that I belived the media would help firstly...how can I face the world knowing in between the disappearance of my daughter and the first findher concert date thousands of children have gone missing across the world or are starving or dying from disease and poor health....
On top of everything they have recieved from the public who are very sympathetic they still deny they could have been at fault....they continue brainstorming ideas for the fund whilst immediate chances of her being found are being whittled and lastly there is still a chance that if things go wrong they may ask for an inquest into the police investigation and then sue the police...you never know and meanwhile a TV show is alread being speculated....
So in answer to your question I do sympathise with the McCanns but the fact is from when they went to dinner to how they are penciling in concert dates they appear to be too high flying for me to accept nuts and bolts they are doing everything for their children...
Given their predicament there are a whole host of measures they could have done to show they are firmly rooted in their particular cause and that they wont be bought in their daughters name....firstly they shouldhave told Sir Philip Green ...we wont be accepting you generous private jet ....we will get on B.A. with the press pack who could have paid for their own seats and this would have set them about 140.00 back.....

I don't hate them - I just feel so sorry for them that they think it's perfectly OK to leave your babies alone while you go off and stuff your face, lie to the police saying you checked on them and didn't and then admit in an interview that you believe that leaving them was actually fine and "normal". Clearly, they are not "all there" shall we say.
To be honest, I think 100% of the population want Maddie back - that would be pretty obvious to me.
It's not just about the money - it's about the cold, calculated attitude of the parents and to be frank, the fact that they left her in the first place - your "whatever the circumstances approach" is just a cop out - you can't go around abandoning children, something awful happens and then expect everyone to bend over backwards for you - "no matter what the circumstances"! - the public are angry at what they have put that little girl through.

I think you'll find (or at least your Mummy/Teacher might be able to explain it to you) that you need to be able to back a claim up if you want to try to pass it off as FACT. I think what made your sad little, feeble attempt to substantiate your own beliefs even SADDER is when you wrote...
'PLEASE STAR...'
Oh dear.
