I would say on a scale of 1-10 its about 8. I would imagine propaganda and the use of the spin doctors is higher in the west than the east.

Difficult to say because so many fall for it. Propaganda is Holy Writ. Those of us who survived WWll and the Cold War regard propaganda as essentially a tool of dictators. Tony Blair softened it in as much as it is now called spin. The only answer is to disbelieve everything you hear and read and make your own mind up by looking at your own situation, what is going on around you and whether you feel safe on the streets. This is over simplifying the matter, I know, but one's own gut instinct has always been the best.
I reckon, come to think of it, that both Labour and Tory merit nul points for their 'spin'. A plague on both their houses.

You are a victim at around 11 of your own. You actually believe you are right all the time. You only ask questions to which you already believe you already know the answer and then pick the answer which agrees with you as the best. Oh and you think you are a kind, good hearted person even though I have read some of the poison that you spit at those people who think the McCanns are bad parents. Shame on you.

think we are more so than we realise. I try to see through it hence I try always to take a rather cynical view of government information. The trouble is that sometimes I feel I am in a game of double bluff. I don't think Eatern USA is as taken in as we sometimes think, but at other times when I hear some Americans I am suprised how much drivel can come out in such an articulate manner. then perhaps that is because i don't always agree. There are many times in life that the only solution to any problem is to agree to disagree and work from ythere

Difficult to be precise but I would say about 6.5/10. Oddly enough I think the Blair Spin Machine has made people a lot more sceptical of official statistics and statements.
If this makes us test the accuracy and veracity of what we are fed by politicians and the media - say by using the internet - it will, over time, counter the propaganda we are offered.
The power of the net in this respect is proven by the Chinese restrictions on Google; it is a tragedy that Google caved in.

IF you believe the USA government was involved in a huge 9/11 conspiracy then you are a VICTIM of propaganda.
