America is the best country in the world, unfortunately we help everyone, whether they like us or not. We are the only true Superpower left and the only country who is left to sort out other countries problems because they can't handle their own problems. Everyone runs to the US for help.

And what do we get in return!? Sniveling, whining jealous complainers. People who complain about our government, help and president, yet they ALWAYS have their hands out!

How many BILLIONS of $$ does the US GIVE to other countries each year?

How many times do we HELP other countries?

Who gives us $$? NO ONE!

Who helps us? Very few countries have the US's back!

If the US were no more >>>>what country would fill our shoes? Ha~there is no country who could/would step up.

>>>>>>>>>So all of you America haters (including some Americans) wake up and lay off our government and president!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm a Turkish citizen. Unfortunately there are bad news about United States here. Nobody believes the good intention of USA. Some people considers as evil, some considers as a pragmatist country. I am in the second group that I'm thinking USA and Turkey (or other countries) are only friends when there is a common benefit for them. Undoubtly, USA is losing sympathy of Turkish citizens day by day. However, this is not like that 10 years ago. This shows something is done in an incorrect way.

On the other hand, the top people of Turkish society in terms of education look USA as an opportunity and mostly they prefer to go. The ones who go are generally happy with their life there. USA is a good country in this sense; peace dominates your soil. I believe that USA citizens have individually good personalities, but they are mostly unaware of the bad events realized there in our geographical region. People die here, not only USA citizens, but the agenda of elections is abortion and some another issue. I think that USA citizens should be interested more with the issues about Middle-East, it should have a priority. I believe that a strong country should not misuse its power, it should be merciful to other countries. It is a better way to stay as a strong country.

One says "good country, bad president". I would like to believe this sentence. I hope that USA citizens make a better decision in following elections and the following government will reflect the opinions of USA citizens with its implementation.

i got real mixed feelings. its definately the best country in the world but sometimes i think people have too much of one kind of freedom yet not enoough of another. like not being able to smoke in a bar thats ridiculous. bars are and have always been the place you go to be free, no reason to be there other then the amusement of yourself, and now you cant smoke there but its ok for somebody to participate in another vice in which your judgement is taken away like drinking. and whatever happened to free speech did a little birdie just steal it from the nest of our lives. don imus is an idiot and always has been, but man was he tacked up to the stake. he was being really ignorant but he was joking. chapele show(which i find to be way hillarious) says things far worse than good old imus and theyre praised for it. now is that fair. all the guy did was basicly paraphrase dr. dre. this country needs to get its prioritys straight. get them boys the he*l out of iraq, i dont care how just make it happen. the us doesnt need to get involved in every unwinable war there is. stop telling me i have to wear a seatbelt, stop telling me where im allowed to burn a ciggerette, and start fixing our real problems like healthcare, homelessness, drug addiction( by fix it i mean get help to those who need it; not go hunting people down like the tyranical power you have become, and fix my dam* street already president bush.

I think the US is in rapid and terminal decline. I have lived in the US, Canada and Europe. The US has changed significantly in the past 20 years and is now a major violator of civil rights, an instigator of illegal aggresion and a police state. I would chose dozens of countries over the US in which to reside.

Too bad - it used to be a pretty nice place!

I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world. Despite the fact that I'm unemployed without health insurance at the ripe old age of 53.

I wouldn't live anywhere else in the world, but never more have I had to cringe over the USA's positions and stances, including that most offensive marriage of convenience of all: fundamentalist evangelism and right wing politics. And they think gay marriage would be uncool.

I love America, especially the way it swings to extremes socially.

The USA is a TRIP! This country can mind other countries business but can't seem to take care of it's own... We have serious issues here that need to be controlled, (America's Morales are jacked up.... folks would rather pay attention to reality shows than to understand we have soldiers being killed DAILY for due to B.S.)..Houston we have a problem! Good Land but TERRIBLE people in office! " but like the folks say, "ONLY IN AMERICA"!

Please read a book called "Confessions of an economic hitman".. In which John Perkins describes how The US government systematicaly rips off third world countries by arranging loans that can never be paid back.
Then ask yourself what do you think of the United States Honestly ?
