The buzz is that there may be a war this Summer between Israel and, no, not the Palestinians, but with Syria. What do you think the outcome would/will be?

So far, Israel has a 4-0 record against the Syrians, following blow-out wins in 1948, 1956, 1967 and 1973.

If there is to be another war, I predict the fall of the Bashir Assad dictatorship. Perhaps those in Damascus ought to ponder this eventuality before leading their people down the path of war.

Israel is a Country to recon with. For all it's size it's as strong and as well equipped as the U.S. It's armed forces are as well trained if not better then the U.S.
You have to remember, they're fighting for a cause, not for others or, for what they're told to fight for.
These people have been fighting all their lives. Whether they win or loose, the force that goes up against them will know they're fighting a strong willed, and honorable people that won't go down easy.

If the Israelis don't worry about International opinion and just take care of themselves, they'll flatten Syria.

To Jake, the previous answerer: I have no idea why you felt it necessary to start denying the Holocaust when answering this question. For your information, not only six million jews but numerous non jews DID perish during this terrible and tragic time. Your answer is both offensive and foolish.

If the Israelis were to fight the war the way they used to; an uncontested bloodbath. If they fight a politically correct battle then it will be a draw. It is up to them.

That talk has been going on for quite some time, and don't you wonder what Iran is up to as well? Those two are in bed together, and it can only mean trouble.

The Israelis would clean their clock, just like they did the last time. Syria would be stupid to try it again.
