Is it true that the Israelis took an arid, dry desert and turned it around to a lush, green productive land? What was Palestine like before the Israelis arrived?

For the most part Palestine (the currect State of Israel) was arid and dry before the Jews emigrated to the area after WWII. But the Palestinians more mostly simple villagers, sheep, goat herders, small farmers and therefore did not see the need to cultivate large tracts of land.

Palestine was peaceful before the Israelis arrived. There is a silent genocide going on over there and has killed millions of people already since 1948. Israelis have destroyed 100 year old olive trees that the palestinians basically live off of, they are burning down the arab villages and building new settlements in there instead. So many Palestinians are living in refugee camps the size of a stall, that they call their homes. So to answer your question, maybe they did changed a dessert in beautiful land. But the dessert was home to many palestinians that they kicked out just so they can make more money on the improvement of the land.

As of December 31, 2001, Israel owed the United States government $1.977 billion in direct economic and military loans. The Israelis didn't "arrive" in Palestine. They invaded it and threw everyone out. We criticize every country in the Middle East except Israel and my tax dollars and I want to know why.

You are absolutely correct. Even today, if you look at the difference in how things are maintained between the Israeli occupied side and the Palestinian side....the Israelis keep everything pristine, the Palestinian side is trashed. And before someone yells, "It's because they are poor...or whatever," you don't have to be rich to pick up after yourself and take pride in your living conditions.

BTW, the Palestinians were never a nation as some would tell you. They were merely a tribe that lived in that general area...including Jordan. You don't see Jordan offering any of their territory to the Palestinians, do you? The Arab world is using these people as pawns in their ongoing quest to throw out the Israelis....trying to make it look like they had some ownership to those lands before the Israelis came.

The only reason why the Isrealis have a lush green country is because they stole the water from the Bekaa Valley in Lebanon.

Yes, totally true. It was nothing, just arid desert and nobody wanted it. The early jewish settlers brought irrigation methods and worked like crazy to turn it into a viable place to live. Now Israel is a beautiful country; almost unrecognisable compared to what it was originally before the original jewish settlers arrived there.
This is historical, documented fact.
