Could 9/11 have been averted by better treatment of women?

Question

In the middle east, women are allowed few liberties. If they were allowed more freedom, I believe 9/11 could have been prevented. Think about it: Guys, what would your wife say if you said to her: "Hey hon, I'm gonna go ram a plane into a skyscraper, I'll see ya around." She'd have told you to shut up and go to the store cause you're out of milk and bread and she needs tampons. And you'd go do it.

I believe that if there were a more maternal influence allowed in the middle east, things wouldn't be nearly so bad. Women, you temper the insane ideas of your men. You keep us grounded here on earth so we don't do stuff like get too wrapped up in our religions, cause we gotta mow the yard and pay the rent next month. Don't have time to make car bombs and sh*t. Is there anything to this? Maybe we don't need democracy in Iraq? Maybe we just need to turn the women loose with some rolling pins? What do you guys think?

It'd be nice to think that SOMETHING could've averted what happened on 9/11. But the REALITY is- that as long as there are inequities between races, cultures, genders, faiths & economies- 9/11s will a regular feature in our everyday lives...

That's a great idea, except for all the female suicide bombers and women who aid and abet terrorists out there, and all the Muslim mothers teaching their children to grow up and become terrorists and sucide bombers.

Do you honestly believe that middle east terrorists are/were not part of that plot?

Some of the suicide bombers are women.
