Get this please.
NO ONE supports Madeleine's parents in leaving their babies alone. But everyone should support them in what they think is best to get their baby back.
They will be charged with neglect for sure & are facing (worse for them their Madeleine is facing) the worst possible punishment. No one wants anyone to "write kindly words" about them. All i is say is taking cheap shots at someone steeped in misery is sick. You want to hound them for leaving the babies, do it...if it makes you happy & proves a point to other irresponsible parents. But making fun of Cuddle Cat & what they wear & what they do & how/why/when they met the Pope & their every
single gesture, expresssion & twisting their comments does not make for an objective debate but just a cruel witchhunt.

There is a difference between supporting someone and simply not ripping a person to bits just because we can. People are entitled to their view on any subject but when it goes beyond any rational discussion and people are discussing the thickness of a kidnapped girls mothers neck, this is where some of us find it distasteful.

That's what I don't get either . Yes her parents are doing everything now to get their daughter back and Yes they must be in a living hell .
However that pales in to significance to what Madeleine could be going through . Are her parent in the arms of paedophiles ?Are they being abused mentally and psychically . Of course we don't know what or if any bad things are happening to the little mite we don't even know if she is still alive.
I think some of the sympathisers have forgot that the parents put her in this dangerous position in the first place.
The McCann parents have to take a share of the blame as well as who took Madeleine.

I really have no feelings for the Mc Canns what so ever, my concerns lie with Madaline.I think initially i had sympathy with the parents, but not any more. I know it sounds harsh but they brought it on themselves, God knows whats happened to that poor little girl, and whats shes been through. I hope shes found safe and sound. But at the the end of the day when she is found her parents should be brought to justice.........THEY BROKE THE LAW,and let their little girl down, as a mother i will always be there for my children, when they hurt themselves or if their frightened as parents its our job to PROTECT them.

I'm not Anti or Pro anyone. I want Madeleine found as much as the next person.
I can't find it in myself to support the McCanns. They gave the abductor ample oppertunity to take their child, they have conducted themselves in a very 'odd' manner since the news broke, more concerned with publicity and Ltd Companies and barely mentioning their daughter.
They must be going through hell, at least you would think they were. They aren't exaclty looking like they have sat up all night crying do they?
If they admitted their mistake and made it clear that what they done was WRONG to prevent others doing the same I would have more compassion for them.

I agree and the reason I dont feel they regret it is because they have no qualms about leaving their twins in the creche which I assume is the hotel daycare for most of the day. I would not leave my child alone or with a resort daycare because you dont know who those people are. No different then hiring a stranger off the street to watch your kids in my eyes. I dont know call me overprotective but I would rather be overprotective then go through something like this.
Hey chuckler....lets not forget that this woman admitted to her mistakes she had done. She admitted what they wanted to throw stones at her was a bad thing. I have yet to hear those words from these parents yet. Jesus doesnt give forgiveness to those who dont ask for it.

I agree Dave. I want nothing more than Madeleine to be found, but I battle with supporting the parents.
Also, there have been people on here who have written that they find any form of attack on the parents totally abhorent and discusting and yet these are often the same people who are sending emails to me and other posters calling every discusting name under the sun. God knows what other people are getting, i've been quite controlled in my comments. Dave lol, you must be getting death threats.
I dont really care, I'm a big grown up girl and it doesn't really bother me but I just find the sheer two facedness hilarious from these people.
And as long as we have a degree of free speech on here, I will continue to post my opinion as I see fit.

I`m not concerned for the parents at all, I just hope Madeleine is found safe. I did feel sorry for the parents at first but have become more and more bemused by their behaviour over the last couple of weeks.

I'm certainly not worried about their feelings, only interested in the safe return of Madeleine.

I think perhaps all the McCann supporters are also people who have at one time or another left their child in the same way and so feel no problem with what occurred.
I totally agree that they gave up their right to sympathy and a kind word when they CHOSE to abandon their children in favour of a meal.
The biggest questions I would like to ask the McCanns is;
If Madeline is found how are you going to explain to her why you weren't there to protect her?
If Madeline isn't found how are you going to explain to her brother and sister why you weren't there to protect them.
Looking back in years to come what will your children think of you?
