I have just caught them on the next leg of their global tour - giving yet another news conference. Mr McCann said and I quote "I would like to see at least some assurance that progress is being made in Spain regarding the abduction of Madeline". Well Gerry, I would like to see some assurance from you and your wife that you are actually searching for your own child and will not continue to abandon your remaining children. They make me absolutely sick to my stomach - the are vile. Who the hell does Gerry McCann think he is. Their attitude leaves me cold. Oh, some good news, they are actually returning to Portugal to spend sometime with their other children (assuming the children can actually remember who they are anymore) before continuing on their world tour.
The short answer to your question is, no, I absolutely do not get them at all.

I think the reason you don't get them is because we are not used to seeing people react in this way. Usually the parents would be breaking down on TV and pleading for their safe return. I think the McCanns don't do this on the telly but i'm sure they do it behind closed doors. Lets face it if they sat around crying all day its not gonna bring her back. Also the fact that this is in a small place with a small police force they feel they have to do everything they can to keep her face on the news.

9.00-9.15 dump twins at Kid's club 'we use the kids club a bit like nursery at home;.
9.15 to 12.15 meetings with lawyers and investment advisers.
12.30 Have to pick twins up but luckily family/friends make lunch for them so we don't have to bother.
13.30 –14.30 Playing with the twins either in the apartment or next to kids club, loOKs good for public relations
14.30-15.00 Dump twins back at Kids’ Club
15.00~17.00 Having dumped twins we get some time together alone, review holiday brochures .
17.00-17.30 Meet kids for high tea with other mums and dads means we don't have to deal with the kids
17.30-18.30. Games with kids at play area again means we don't have to deal with them.
18.30-19.30 Bath and story time with the twins.
20.00 Dump them in beds try to remember to count them.
20.30-23.00 Having got rid of the kids we sit down for a 'family meal', ok without what remains of the family but hey kids are just irritating (all that having to count them all the time its such a bore)

addition: I'm a single male and never thought of ever having children of my own, sorry just not interested, if they they didn't want her I'd have looked after her until a suitable home could 've been found, if not f**k bachelor hood.

Well said Bexs. I don't knock them for not crying in public, I don't like that myself. What I don't like is the fact that no other sign of grieving is apparent, no red eyes etc from crying in private. Saying farewell to the twins with the cameras on them? Disgusting. They are a tacky pair of neglectful parents and they are continuing in that way with the twins because they have been canonised by the media and can do no wrong.

I dont get them. They shouldnt have done what they done but I also feel sorry for them because they are feeling the consequences of their actions.
At the end of the day no parent should deserve their child being snatched from them, nor should a parent have to bury their own child.

they go for a meal, leaving kids in the room all alone in a foreign country....
they had been boozing by the pool all afternoon, that can be the only explanation for their pathetic behaviour....
as long as the kid turns up safe and well, and the idiot parents get arrested for child neglect, then this sorry experience will be done and dusted.

yeah, they are bad parents, and now they are enjoying a high life. Talk about child exploitation ... poor Maddie. and I really hope nothing will happen to the twins. that's all !
