That is true it could be a cleaners or a previous tennent's DNA
They don't mention where they found it, If they found it on her bed that could be a good peice of evidence, since they would of touched the bed to pick her up while she was sleeping, if that is what happened.
But i do think they know more then they are saying. more then one or typo?

I really don't know why Madeleine's case gets A LOT more attention then the other ones, I wish they could display other missing kids pictures with maddie's picture. Or even stories, (I didn't even know about Ben Needham until this happend, I was a teeager back then and wrapped up in teeage land) I wish they could find all missing kids someday, but sadly that won't happen. As for her parents, my daughter dissappeared on me for about 20 minutes (she was hiding in the sand box in the backyard with the lid on the top, she now knows how dangerous that is especially since it's in the sunlight and gets too hot, eventually she came out while I was on the phone with the police) But I was balling my eyes out, I don't know how Kate is not doing the same thing.

Thing is, this was a holiday apartment, not a sterile hospital room, there is bound to be lots of dna from cleaners to laundrey workers, other people who have slept in those beds.

I think its a dodgy lead.

Just as a by the by - I looked up the missing childrens website today as I was concerned that all these children that have gone missing that have not received this kind of attention. All bar one of the children under 10yrs, all have either gone missing with a parent or another sibling involving again parental disputes. The other case was that of Ben Needham.
Also checked out Wikipedia in regards to the 'why go to spain issue'. This was because the description of the man seen carrying the child in the blanket the night of Maddie going missing, fits the description of the suspect was seen around the time of a 14yr old abducted in Spain and a 7yr old boy that was presumably abducted from his front garden in the Canary Islands.

Lets hope Maddie is returned home soon.

in the sun today the people who had stayed in the McCanns apartment the week befor and are home in england now said it was strange that nobody had taken their fingerprints or anything

Not certain what the point of your post is to be honest. If there is DNA which does not match the parents, that does not mean anything really .. that does not exculpate them from any responsibility in my opinion.
