Will it be more valuable to have a split floor plan or not?

I heard that you shouldn't wash a downs comforter so I've never washed mine but I'm strongly thinking otherwise. I have feathers everywhere and I'm constantly wiping my bedroom furniture down and vacuuming to get rid of the layers of feathers. I think the thread count is 365 and its a King size (if that helps any).

i was on my computer a few hours ago and i turned and saw a big one on the side of my bed, it crawled around the from before i could do anything and when i came back with raid and moved the mattress it wasn't there, it probably moved under the bed cause thats the only dark place. i turn the light off and left for an hour to see if it would come out but i came back and looked around and think its still there. so now i have a roach living under my bed and i cant sleep. anyone know a way i can scare it out or get to it without emptying the entire can of raid under the bed?

I need to grow a beautiful flower for a project I am doing. My limit is about 6 months, and I live in Bahrain, which is EXTREMELY hot/humid weather, especially in the summer which gets to about 40 degrees Celcius at its hottest. I can grow inside though.. but have any idea on which beautiful flower is the easiest and fastest to grow? I heard a rose can take up to a year :(

Our family lives in Brazil and every so often it gets very cold, and since the houses are made of cement it is freezing inside, and lots of covers just dont seem enough for one or two weeks a year. We had baught a couple of heaters but they are eletrical, and when we plug those in all the lights go in our house since they use too much energy.

Does any one know or have ideas for Non- Eletrical heating systems?

That wouldnt be extremely expensive?

My roommate and I just noticed this crackling sound in the wall of my bathroom. His frist reaction was that it's water, although at times when you hit the wall, it stops for a second. This made us believe it could be bugs. We live in California which means there are termites eveywhere, but the sound doesn't really sound like termites. Any suggestions on what else it could be?

We have a large, leafy vine growing on our house(we just moved here in June) and recently it has been overcome by these tiny little flying bugs, which seem to pretty much keep to the vine. I was out trimming it today, because it grows like crazy, and you could literally turn over one leaf and see about 15 of them. When you shook the vine it looked like it was snowing, and sounded like it was raining. The are very small and whitish with a bit of a tri-daimond design on their back. The smaller of them(they are all very small) are so tiny they just look white. I checked out other vine on our garage, and there was none on that one. They sort of resemble a grasshopper in shape, but are not because I looked them up. LOL

Anyway, what are they, and should I leave them alone or try to get rid of them? If so, how??? We don't like insecticides or pesticides...as they aren't safe for our kids or good for the environment.

We didn't know we had one in our yard, until my husband dumped some dirt in a low spot. Suddenly we have a bunch of angry bumbles circling around the dirt mound, and they don't look happy! (that's just an assumption, since I can't see if they are smiling or frowning.) We would never have deliberately harmed or blocked their home, but how can I tell that to a bee? Is there anything we can do now or will they dig it out themselves? And can we ever use that part of our yard again?

We found a small mud-looking clump on our wall outside in a corner. What could it be? It's not a wasps nest but it does look like some kind of sack.
