I once knew a guy that was a proffesional dishwasher. I went by his house one evening and he was washing his own dishes and singing and happy. He loved to wash dishes. Have you ever actually enjoyed this? Not I.

Ok ok, y'all. I'm afraid to go to bed. I've got this 1/2" long bug that moves very fast. Its legs, head, and antennae are shaped like an oversized ant's with very pronounced mandibles. There is no separation between the thorax and the abdomen (middle and backside? I'm not good with bug anatomy.) Meanwhile the elongated tail has full 360 degree rotation and will lash back up over its head trying to sting when caught. I accidentally sqashed the neck, and its tail kept lashing around, leaving white streaks on the glass from where it was trying to hit me. (And yes, it kept trying to bite with the mandibles too!!) Dark brown... overall body shape kind of like a mealworm. Any ideas? I want to figure out what it is so I can talk to my landlord...... please help me ID this thing!

I ate a peach and want to grow a peach tree for myself, I was wondering if its possible to grow it by just putting the pit into soil and water? About how long does it take to actually see results above the soil? How many times should I water it? does it like to be in the sun at all times, or half and half? And does it even work?
I enjoy watching plants grow from seed and was wondering if it actually works.
thx and please give lots of details

I live in Florida. My huband bought me a beautiful bird of paradise plant this past mother's day. This plant was purchased at a flower shop supposedly facing a southern exposure. I placed it in my house in a ceiling to floor window facing north. I'm not a plant novice, so this one has me perplexed. It has started to decline and it seems that everything I'm reading regarding their care is controversial. Should they be watered deeply and allowed to dry out or should they be kept moist? Should they have bright light or full sun? I've since moved it outside in some sun, but the leaves are now starting to curl???

We just killed an enormous black widow in our gargage. Does that mean there are probably others there that we haven't seen yet?
We don't live in a rural area, and haven't seen many spiders since we moved into our house 2 years ago. 90% of the ones we have seen have been innocent daddy longlegs types.
Does it work the same with spiders as other creatures? Like how if you see one cockroach, that means there are dozens more you haven't seen?
Thanks in advance!

Please help, do the electronic mouse/rat pest repellants work?
I have a severe fear of rodents dead or alive so it wouldn't work for me to set traps because I would be unable to pick up the dead rodents.

I live in central Oklahoma. And my front yard recieves sun from early morning till about 2:30pm.(central time). I have these big flower pots. They are 2ft in diameter and about 2-1/2ft deep. I'm not very good at gardening with roses. But , love the flowers they produce. I have such a rough time with black spot fungus and leaf yellowing. I need to know, what kind of roses can be grown in such container, with the sun in that area. Something that needs little care and are easy to grow. And rejects diseases.

I planted an Empress tree, a fast grower that has grown 4' this summer. My problem is something is eating the leaves. The instructions said they don't have bug problems, but mine does. I put Sevin dust on it, and still have the problem. I saw two tiny, bright red dots on a leaf. Do you know what bug that is and how to treat it? I live in Houston, Texas, a sub-tropical zone, so it could be anything.

I am not having any luck selling things from my house. I want to sell the house, but it has to be cleaned out first. Most of the stuff I inherited and there are some valuable antiques and collectibles. I've tried Craig's List and a locally circulated classified magazine. No luck. I've contacted estate liquidators and antique dealers in my area, but nobody is interested. I've even tried to have a few garage/estate sales, but the little I sold wasn't worth the effort of setting it up and knocking it down. The contents are too valuable to just throwout or give away. Any ideas why nobody is interested or buying anything?

I'm trying to purchase a "Door Stopper" and am pulling up the wrong thing-please help!!?
I'm trying to buy one of those things that slides underneath a bedroom/any door and it keeps it from shutting. I've tried searching under "door stopper" but the only thing that pulls up are the attachments you hook to the wall to keep it from banging into the wall. I've tried "door slides." It pulls up sliding doors. I'm baffled at what to search under...please help!!!

I'm looking for antique Jack Russell one's to be exact...if anyone knows where I can find some. Like the metal/vintage ones. Or even Metal figures to set in front of the door. Thanks!

It seems that the files around our house cling to the side of the house and certain areas around it. Is there something I can spray on the house to prevent them from doing this? They're a nuisance.
