The magic eraser might have made it worse with scratching the suede. Did you get one of the special cleaner boxes when you purchased it? Was it scotchguarded? You might want to use a test spot before using any cleaner. However I do believe that you can buy a special cleaner for microsuede and might want to try it before anything else.
Here is a list of solutions that you may be able to use
Rubbing Alcohol (Isopropyl Alcohol)
Clear alcohol such as vodka.
Ammonia (Household Strength)
Guardsman AFTA Spot Cleaner
Below is a website about cleaning microsuede.

I mayself am not familiar with cleaning this fabric. First I would suggest getting out your information on the sofa and it's care; secondly, contact the manufacturer, they usually will be helpful in getting you the info you need. An online searchwill give you sites that can be helpful as well: here are a couple ...also try a carpet or rug cleaning service in your local area, theymay have some suggestions.

i have no idea about your problem cause i never owned a sofa made of that material, but i've found that oxyclean works wonders on furniture (sucks on cloths though). i would try any kinda of fomeing spray because i beleave water is bad fo that material, but like i said i'm really not SURE.
some one also had a similar problem and they fixed it by brushing the fabric with a vinegar soked tooth brush. which makes some sence because vinegar is the perfect acid in alot of ways because its abrasive enough to clean but wont ruin the fabric. furthermore in the future soap and water is a silly idea on that kinda fabric it causes perminent spots more often then not.

did you have it treated when you bought it? We always use some cleaner the furniture store gave us and then we use a blow dryer to get rid of the rings. My furniture has been peed on puked on, food spilled on and it still looks brand new. Maybe you could get the cleaner from the furniture store you bought it at. oh yeah, mine is microfiber too.

Try RESOLVE for non machine washable fabrics... It's a spray foam... Also, if you have a shop vac wet/dry maybe try to extract the water already set into the fabric so the rings don't "set" Good luck

Try leather cleaner or call the manufacturer and ask them. Maybe the place you bought it can help as well. Good luck-Amanda
