I just purchased a metal twin/full bunk bed...can I purchase any full mattress? And does anyone know the weight restrictions on the bottom full bed? I don't want to buy a cheap mattress for it. I want a nice mattress since I will have to sleep on it when we have company.

I planted purple coneflower seedlings around my mailbox. They're growing but the bottom leaves looked nibbled on. I don't see anything in the daytime so they must be chomping at night. What is eating them and how can I stop them?

My daughter brought me home a morning glory in a icecream container a few days ago. It's thriving! Already opened and showed me it's glory! lol Now I really want to plant it. I need to know if it's a perrinal or a annual. I need to know exactly how to care for it because I want to make it last as long as I can. I also noticed it's starting to climb on my other plants here in the house...can I have it as an indoor plant or does it need to be outside? Help!!

I stupidly poured cold water into hot water in my Le Cruset saucepan and the non-stick coating broke away where i poured leaving a dark patch that has now got rusty, so i cant use my pan.
This pan cost a fortune new and is part of a set so im kicking myself!
I know baths can be re-enamelled etc so i wondered if it was possible to get it repaired and if so where and at what cost.
Can anyone help?

I do realize there are a couple of small colorless seeds in each one but that does not justify destroying the melon just to get a few seeds

I have just been turning over a compost heap which we started using 5 years ago and finished using 2 years ago. It took all our organic kitchen waste as well as garden rubbish. Everything we put in it has rotted down nicely - except the wine bottle corks, which have emerged almost unaltered.

Clearly, conventional, low-tech, garden composting isn't the answer. What other and better solutions can people offer, apart from sending them off to landfill via the dustbin?

I discovered what I thought were mouse droppings lying directly below a shuttered window on my house. After I poked and prodded the "mouse" behind the shutter, using a coat hanger, out flew a bat. Is it normal for a bat to be solitary? And were those bat droppings? Or do I have a mouse problem, too?

Did you find it lonely? If so is it OK when you are settled in and do you feel content after a while? Is it OK as long as you keep yourself really busy during the day?

do you know the best way for me to do this? I don't have much knowledge or experience in terms of building... I am used to being in the office more than construction...

I would appreciate any non-judgemental input!
