I am building a new house and have a choice to make between using clay or concrete brick, can anyone please tell me the main pros and cons to consider. One of my main concerns is the white residue seen on some brick walls, does this only occur with clay brick??

They work great, nothing is wrong with them at all. The only reason we are selling them is b/c we just bought a house and it had a washer and dryer in it already, which work well too. Thanks!

I have bird feeders in my yard to feed the tiny little birds that fly about, especially this time of year when it's really cold. The problem I am having is that there are alot of crow / black birds in our area and they are absolutely relentless when it comes to the bird feeders. I really don't care for these black birds at all. They eat or destroy all the food for the little birds in a short amount of time. Does any one have a sensible solution to this bird problem, besides shooting the black birds. We have plenty of woods and fields for these black birds to hang out in....Not my bird feeders!

By temporarily, I mean without having to do any invasive procedures, and I'd like to keep costs as low as possible since I'm a student. I've been researching, but there are so many methods and they all seem so expensive, so I figured I'd turn for help here, thanks in advance.

I've done some research but some websites seem to say the exact opposite than others. If you have ever owned a VFT, do you have any tips. Yes, I know not to stick my finger in it! Not that it would hurt me, but it would stress the plant.

Thanks guys

What is a type of flower or plant I can easily buy at a grocery store/Home Depot which is simple to grow and take care of? How long does it take for that certain flower to grow? Will it take less than 2 weeks?

Thanks

A house in my neighborhood has been vacant since the previous owners left 2 years ago I have never seen the new owner,(had a for rent sign up then later a for sale sign, which has since been torn from the ground by someone) for a while gardners were taking care of the yard but for almost 6 months there has been no sign of anyone. the yard is an eyesore(leaves, trash, 5+ flyers attached to the door, grass dying)next to the neighboring houses which have well-kept yards. Plus the house has a pool, and we are not sure or not if it was drained when the previous ocupants left. Is there anything we could do about this? recomendations are welcome.
