I play the drums on the 2nd story. How do I soundproff my walls in just one room? With what material?

Sound absorbing foam, similar to that used in sound studios. Careful, it must be fireproof in accordance with local building code..DON'T buy the stuff that was used at the STATION night club in Rhode Island...

Insulation works very well. But that means tearing out the walls. Good Luck! What about the floor? I don't have a clue of what you could do there.

I have seen guys use large egg carton trays which they fasten to the wall Works fair good.

Remember the egg crates that we all use to have on our beds? This will work wonderfully staplegunned to the wall. I've tried and it really does work.
