What is a type of flower or plant I can easily buy at a grocery store/Home Depot which is simple to grow and take care of? How long does it take for that certain flower to grow? Will it take less than 2 weeks?

Thanks

get some of the potted spring bulbs like tulips, daffodils or hyacinth. They will bloom within a week or 2 of the time you purchase them and will last about 2 weeks. In march, easter lilies will also be available. All the bulbs and lilies can be planted outdoors after they finish blooming and will bloom the next spring.

African violets are small flowering plants that bloom sporadically, look for the ones that are in bud and just about to bloom. these little plants can last for years.
