This is a hard question without writing a book on the subject. You basically need big plastic bins about 6 - 8 inches deep. Depending on how much money you want to spend you could plumb water. This would require 1/4" refrig. line from the hardware store and a float valve. You need a grow mat and a nutrient based food layer. Warm conditions and plenty of light. If you build it right you will outgrow mother nature any old day of the week.
