My favorite flowers is carnations even though I like the smell of honeysuckle. Unless I buy flowers myself, I don't get flowers very often and I enjoy getting them.

I want to have a shower fitted in my bathroom. I currently have a combi boiler and am puzzled about the different showers available. Can anybody advise me please? Also, how much am I likely to be charged to get the shower fitted - I am a single woman and, although I understand that quality work comes at a price, I dont want to get ripped off either.

(Anyone have a % or source)

Arent almost all houses typically framed in wood? Why?

Could houses be framed in steel instead? if so would it be a large price difference? and what would the benefits be?

Lastly, What are some other building material/methods that could be used? (the only one that comes to mind is brick/stone)

You can take it apart into small pieces, it has tags on the bottom saying Lafer and is imported from Brazil to a company in New York.

The stove is a 1950s Tappan Deluxe. I was thinking of using it in my cabin.
Are there any web sites on this subject?

Thanks!

I got a leather sofa about 4 months ago, its got foam style inners and leather cushions. The seat cushions seem to have stretched and one of them has got a couple of pretty big creases in it. It this normal? Should i complain? It doesn't exactly get over-used or mis-used. I just sit on it.

I've noticed since I've had my furnace serviced that when it's running, there's a faint fuel oil smell in the house. It's not overpowering and I can only smell it when I walk between the dining room and the living room. Is this anything to be concerned about?

I've got an old ox-blood chesterfield that i would like to be more of a chestnut colour rather than the faded red colour it is. Can anyone recommend a not-too-specialist product or process that can change or tone down the colour without dyeing my clothes, pets and small children everytime they go near it?

I get excited over little things. Like, for example, yesterday we went and bought a 5 pc table/chair set, a really nice one..for only $100. I LOVE it..we didn't have a table in our apartment before and I just love it so so much. Everyone that saw me get all excited about it was just like "ummm, it's just a wal-mart table" but yah, I like it...I like it a lot...OK, I think I have officially had way too much caffeine and am wasting 5 pts on this question but why do some people have to have the best of the best and others are happy with whatever?? (make sense?)

I've seen this product that is designed to keep mice away by creating a sound that they don't like. Do these work, or is it snake oil?

OK... I hate spiders... It's not that I hate them but I'm scared of them...
when i see one i don't even kill it someone has to kill it for me b/c im so scared of them...
If I see one I will jump, scream and so on...
Where I work I've scared some people when I saw a spider but I screamed so badly..
ANd now I just moved to a new house... a bigger one with lots of trees (where spiders come from) and i already saw 3 in 2 days...THe difference is that they are all different from each other.. i know that the long legged ones wont do anything for us but what types of spiders do? the ones I've seen arent hairy or anything..they are just different colors and not skinny long legged...
what can i do? and how do i know which ones are dangerous/poisenous?
ANd please take me seriously... i am scared of them!
