first i would google your herbs, find out what they need, not all things take the same fertilizer.

I use alot of broken up egg shells, and you could make a small compost pile in a large zip-loc bag.

Simply add all your kitchen scraps, no meat, dairy, cooked vegi's or raw eggs. Everything else would be good. Save your hair when you get it cut too. put that stuff in the bag much it around for a few weeks, and there you go, free organic fertilizer. You might need to add some water, and keep in in the sun.

Fish emulsion is an organic fertilizer. If you own horses, dryed manure is great.

fish emulsion, blood meal.. both are good. they offer different nutrients, so find out what your herbs need before applying.

Worm casing(casting?). Anway....it is cleaner than any other...and does not stink. When I use to buy it, it was called "Super Stuff."
