There is a smell coming up from the drain in our kitchen, we have tried drano, bleach, nothing works. In a matter of days the smell returns, it is similar to the smell of mould growing in a moist area. There are no water leaks

Scott Park are building a house next to mine and their bobcat driver pushed a bucket full of sand on to our colourbond fence, which bent the fence & our closeline, which is on the other side of the fence. They are saying that due to the fact that our block level had been dropped 400mm they are not responsible for the damage. I dont think that is right, any help would be great.. Joe

I live in a country where exposed brick walls are not very common. However, I really like the look of it for indoor. What sort of brick is used for that wall? Please be as specific as you can with the type/model/style of the brick. Thanks so much!

I am currently looking to purchase a new home in NC. What sort of "evidence" should I look for to see if a home has termites, or has ever had them? I know a home inspector will find it if it's there - but I don't want to sign a contract at all on a home if I know in advance. Serious answers only please.

I am remodeling my home and have the option to run a gas line outside to hook into a barbeque. I don't have the space to do a built in so need to buy a standalone bbq - do they sell regular gas grills that hook into house gas lines and what are the pros and cons of this vs. a regular propane tank grill?

I moved into a condo a couple of months ago, and my bedroom is hotter than all of the other rooms. I've had air conditioning technicians come out several times, and the repairs have added up to over $600, but I still have the problem. I can't think of any reason why my room is consistently hotter than all the others. I've had all my ductwork replaced because I was told that the ducts weren't insulated enough, and I've had dampers installed to make sure there's even air flow in every room.

For instance, right now where I live it's about 60 degrees outside. I still have my air conditioner on, and it's about 70 degrees in every room, except my bedroom, which is about 78 degrees. I'm going out of my mind trying to figure out what the deal is.

I'm assuming that there must be something in or around my room that is warming it up somehow. Has anyone else had this problem, do you have any idea what it could be?
