Why if we buy expensive water faucets and fixtures, we can't buy sensor drived water saving faucets and fixtures to save water in our home, like in the shower, toilette, hand wash, in the kitchen when washing dishes or doing our dinner, this will cut water consumption almost a half or more, I know american people expend even hundreds in water fixtures that don't have sensors saving, a water fixtures whit sensor saving is the same amount an expensive one, and this save water that is already a priority on the world.

In the UK and with NPower. During the summer the gas bills are about £40/quarter.

Now we have the heating on its costing me £5.00 day! This is going to be £450 next quarterly bill. What I really want to know is that for those with gas, how many kilowatts / cubic feet / cubic metres of gas are you using per quarter. Check your statement if you don't know because I'm realy trying to work out what the average user uses in volume rather than price.

Since yesterday I have used 4 cubic feet of gas. Is this too much per day (three bed house) Maybe the heatings too high or the insulation is cr@p!

My husband turns it off, or down. I turn it up cos I'm freezing, he'll sneakily turn it down then I sneakily turn it up. And so it goes on!

We once agreed what temp. it should be, but he never stuck to it so it's back to being sneaky again!!

You don't have to own it and it doesn't have to be material in nature. It may be something which and others benefit from.

Is it as simple as hooking up the gas and electric to the furnace and then hooking up the ducts and vent? Am I missing something? I am trying to decide if I can replace my old furnace on my own. Thank you.
