I'm seriously considering a camera system. I did a four foot square painting of the houses and catalpa trees across the street, it took hundreds of hours and earlier this year it walked. It hurt. A second bike of mine was taken the day after I paid for it; and today I got up and the green party political sign I put next to our front steps is gone. It makes no sense. I don't ever see our neighbors lock up their bikes or stuff. I keep smaller paintings I've done on the front porch and they are still here after months. Maybe they suck :0. I'm poor and can't really afford to move, I want to be able to cover my living space inside and out with the art I make, I need some good ideas.

hello, I have just moved into a apartment, and due to the layout I can only really put my plant on top of my microwave. Someone told me that I should watch my plant cause they might not like the energy coming from it. Is this really true?

I have been looking for an antique dealer and or apraiser to find out the true value of an antique coffee percolaor that my mom has aquired about 20 years ago. We know that the percolator has been estimated to have been back in the 1920's. The person that said that is was a 1920's model also told us that he wouldn't be able to afford what it could be worth but no amount was said. In the past few years we have had three other people say that saw the percolator and said that they would not be able to afford what the pot could be worth. Once again no amount was stated. Two of those people that said that they wouldn't be able to afford it were dealers themselves but they weren't appraisers. The percolator is in excellent condition. No wear and tear on the percolator and on the original tags that are still attached to the pot. The pot also has the original coffee still encased within the pot. Any more information would be greatly appreciated.

I'm about to buy a new cooker. With all the worries about our gas supplies depleting would it be more ecologically sound if I bought an electric oven. Will my bills lower as the price of gas has risen so dramatically? I've never used one before - do they do as good a job as gas? Pros and cons please...

I'm looking for a washable liner. If you can definitely find one please add link for item. I have looked on Linens and Things, Bed, bath and beyond, and Target and can't seem to find one. I want to use it as the liner not for a decorative curtain.

Alot of these containers looked I believe like women. They had them ranging from ketchup and mustard to mayonnaise and relish. I also seen vinegar and etc. They are very rare and I seen them on the show Cash in the Attic I just can't remember what they are called.

I am looking for a solvent which can remove dried paint. I know there are chemicals which can reduce the thickness of wet paint which is in liquid form and hence dilute it. But is there a way to do that with dried paint?

My boyfriend will give me flowers everyonce and a while (for dances, or just because) and I like to keep them like my mom has kept all the flowers my dad has given her. The only thing is everytime I try to put my flowers (the bulbs or tops and petals) in a bag (plastic) they always get mold on them and don't dry properly I'm guessing.
How can I dry them right??? I don't want to keep them if they keep getting moldy and yucky...
Please help?

I tried some methods for removing glass from other glass but doesn't seem to work :(
The small ceramic bowl seems lodged in there pretty tight.
I tried putting outer cup in boiling water and ice water in the inside bowl.
I tried pouring hot boiling water on bottom of overturned cup.
I tried freezing the whole thing in the freezer, then dunking in hot water.
I tried using cooking spray to get between cup and bowl.
no luck so far.

I don't care if the inner bowl is destroyed. I really want to save the outer cup.

Thanks for any suggestions!
