Unfortunately this is the downside of it and also there is some enviornmental concern about us sleeping on top of foam. However, I got over the problem by directing a fan on my head at night. It's the only way I can sleep! But it helps with two problems ... the noise of the fan drowns out external noises that upset sleep (like neighbours).
Hope that helps.

Oh, man, we tried a cheap memory foam mattress a few years ago, and I always woke up very sore. I think it held me in such a way that I didn't toss and turn, and my muscles seized up. I gave it up after just a few weeks. I wonder if the expensive memory foam mattresses work any better.
You might try cotton or satin sheets, turning down the thermostat and using fewer blankets.
Good luck with it! I wish they had test beds so people could try these "miracle" things out before they buy. My friend got a temperpedic, and *swears* by it, not at it.

You could try a mattress topper. They add an extra layer of comfort and are usually cotton, which will help you cool down. Try to get the thickest and most expensive one you can.
