I'm seriously considering a camera system. I did a four foot square painting of the houses and catalpa trees across the street, it took hundreds of hours and earlier this year it walked. It hurt. A second bike of mine was taken the day after I paid for it; and today I got up and the green party political sign I put next to our front steps is gone. It makes no sense. I don't ever see our neighbors lock up their bikes or stuff. I keep smaller paintings I've done on the front porch and they are still here after months. Maybe they suck :0. I'm poor and can't really afford to move, I want to be able to cover my living space inside and out with the art I make, I need some good ideas.

Try not to leave anything of value outside. I know it sucks, but you do what you have to. And a dog is a pretty good idea, just make sure you get it from a breeder who isn't inbreeding or even better...go to the pound. They also offer obenience classes for a smaller fee than other places and can reccomend a good school for your dog to become a guard dog.
Also, go to the hardware store, they sometimes sell signs that say "this home is monitored by ____" to deter theives.
I hope it gets better.

- unless you're eavesdropping how do you know about the beating? you must talk wildly loud for him to hear you through a closed door. - so what anyone with a brain can see it's not, maybe he was joking -i don't blame them - trouble makers could not only take something but if you fell you could sue them! - call the PO and the ability to open and reseal nowadays is pretty tough. - legally if he's allowed in at any time - that's the law - if you are legally disabled with a permit they will give you a spot out front. why should she pay for the ticket to make you happy when all you've been in rude to her - what so HE uses tampons sorry you don't make valid arguments for your rants. you seem like a rather rude person - calling him a retard is VERY immature and does notthing to lend credibility to your case.

Get as much lighting on your yard as possible. Also leave a light or two on in your house, the vandals may think that someone is still awake in the home and be afraid to enter your property. Also try to notify your local police dept. and see if you can get them to patrol through your nieghborhood once a week or so. And finally ask your neighbors to look out for vandals, the more people you get involved the harder it is for them to steal your things.
