What is Telstar 3 insecticide?

The exterminator told me he wasn't supposed to use this product but he did use it. I would like to know more about it.

It's Talstar and contains a chemical called bifenthrin. On the label of every insecticide it gives uses and if he said he wasn't supposed to use it it probably means he used it for some problem it's not labeled for. If it's used according to labeled instructions it's safe and effective.
