I've seen this product that is designed to keep mice away by creating a sound that they don't like. Do these work, or is it snake oil?

I bought 6 when I lived in a large, older home and they did nothing to help the problem. I ended up calling an exterminator who sealed up some places they were getting in, and also set and monitored traps. It took a while, but that finally solved the problem. Don't waste your money on the sound generators.

Try putting "Oil of Peppermint" (same stuff they use to scent candles)on cotton balls & placing them where the mice are
