I moved to Savannah, GA about a month ago and have sprayed for roaches 2x already, but I am still seeing some dead and some alive. I am terrified of roaches and have about lost my mind. Does anyone have any tips for how to get rid of these things. The locals around here have told me it is something you get used to...but I will never get used to those things. HELP Please!

How much money do these bulbs save? If you read the packaging, they say a pack of 8 will save about $50. I think that is per package for the life of the bulbs. If you divide the $50 by 8 bulbs and then by 5 years and then by 12 months, you're saving about 10 cents a month per bulb. Is this correct? So if you use 10 bulbs, you save a dollar a month on your electric bill?

I need to mow my yard and lawn practically every week. However, i'm not alwasys in town to get the things done. Even when i pay someone to come do the cutting, they need to come back practically every week. So, my question, is there a way to stop grass from growing so fast? I live in florida, and with all the rain, my grass has been growing at least two to three inches a week. I remember when i lived up north in SC, i only had to cut the grass about once a month or so. The climate is pretty much teh same with only an increase in rain this year. Any suggestions anyone?

When I was a little girl, my parents had a gate that blocked me and my little sister from getting into the laundry room. The gate was mounted to the wall on one side of the doorway, and it opend/closed by expanding/contracting like an accordion. It was a wooden gate, and when open, the gate had diamond-shaped "holes" in it.

I've tried searching for accorion gates online, and all I come up with are sites talking about how they're dangerous for children and shouldn't be used any more. Well, I don't HAVE any children, so that doesn't matter to me. What I need is a gate that will allow my cat to get into the bathroom to access her litter box but will keep my roommate's dog OUT of the bathroom because he does his business in there on my floor and I'm sick of cleaning it up.

The accordian gate is the perfect solution because alothough the dog won't fit through the openings, the cat will. Does anyone know where I can find one of these?
