I moved to Savannah, GA about a month ago and have sprayed for roaches 2x already, but I am still seeing some dead and some alive. I am terrified of roaches and have about lost my mind. Does anyone have any tips for how to get rid of these things. The locals around here have told me it is something you get used to...but I will never get used to those things. HELP Please!

The spray you get at the store will only work for a short period of time. Call a professional they have the good stuff but that only lasts so long too. Get a pro. out on a regular basis.
They (roaches) have been around since the time of the dinosur and will be here long after we're gone. The local are right by the way.

Hi neighbor I live in mobile Alabama and Ive been told the same thing and like you I can not stand anything that is a creepy crawly. I have found that keeping things dry and clean limits their numbers, also my son and husband have asthma so spraying products is a No can do, but I have found the little devils die if I spray them with Lysol yup they drop dead,,also a product called Combat gel works great,,they are small tubs like chalking kind of expensive but boy the stuff works you place it in areas like under you sink in little spots, stove and fridge area too,,I've used it and go for several days before I redo it so I don't see any more of them nasty creatures..Good Luck and on live the war LOL

If you live in an apartment you need your neighbors to clean up their place also. The exterminator is the best bet. Bug bombs are very good also. When you call a bug man don't just check out price, check out warranty. We have had a major company come in and still have problems. Try to get referrals too.

My mom is from South America - you haven't seen roaches that big - ever! The only thing other than chemicals is clean, clean and keep cleaning!! And make sure your garbage is put out constantly, and leave no food unwrapped!!!

hahaaa this is hilarious, but roaches are no joke, even if you do get rid of them, if your neighbors have them, then you will continue to get them, keep your house as clean as possible and dont leave food out, if their still there, then maybe you should move. hahaaaahh sorry
