Real estate taxes will vary greatly depending on where the property is located. Your county will have a "Property Valuation Administration" office that is responsible for placing a taxable value on all of the real property in the county. It is usually the duty of the Sheriff's Office to actually collect the taxes. The State, County, and Municipalities determine the tax rates.

Best advice is to contact your local "Property Value Administration" office for the current property tax rates in your area.

Good luck with your search for information.

It varies with each town. Call the Town offices in that particular town and they will give you the latest rate.
