There are lots of resources on the Internet with regards wind turbines & also on ebay. I would do lots of research before going ahead and buying something, there is a lot to consider such as intergration into you home & ultimately the national grid & also invertors for increasing 12V upto 240v or 110v. There are many sites on the internet that specialize in wind turbines. you can easly find hundreds just by googleing "wind generators+(your state)"
There are also many books for beginners to experts at your library or any good book stores.

I believe Maplins sell a small one, good for recharging a 12v battery or running a light or two.
