There is a small amt of water coming up through the carpet in our hallway. It is right in front of where the a/c thing is and is also near a bathroom and the washer/dryer. We were hoping it was just condensation from the a/c b/c it has been running non-stop for the past few days b/c of the heat outside. But, now we're not sure. I am also not sure of the true nature of the water b/c it had dried out a little bit overnight friday, but idk if it was b/c the source had stopped overhight of if it was b/c my mom put a towel over it. Has anyone else had anything like this happen? What is the likelyhood that this is something that will be horribly expensive? :(

My water pressure in my backyard is moderate. The water pressure in my front yard is ridiculously low. My sprinkler in the back sprays 8' high. In the front with same hose and sprinkler only goes 3' tops. Is there anything I can do?

It seems like my spa needs one or two fuses. How do I know which ones? where would I look up to see the voltage settings for the fuse? I have no idea what fuse to buy. On the outside of the fuse cover it only says "60 NO FUSE" that's all it says so I need help with this! Any recomendations?

Heres the deal, Just bought a house and the duct work is in the attic. once we started moving in we noticed water dripping from vents in ceiling. Well we went and bought duct work insolation and reinsulated everything, In the process we noticed water damaged and what do you kow we ended up with a hole in the middle of the living room ceiling. Well we got that repaired and got all the insolation done. Water is still dripping and is starting to make water marks on the ceilings around the vents. We have ventalation up there and have rechecked our insolation work and everything is covered and tight. I really want to get this figured out before we have more water damage to the ceiling. No one seems to know why it is still dripping So if anyone can help me I really need it. PLEASE why could it still be dripping?????

I just moved. I was living in a small 2 bedroom home, that stayed very cool when using the CH&A. The house I live in now is 3 bedroom, 2 full bath, with large living room & large kitchen. I noticed that it gets awfully hot in here. The CH&A unit is about 1/2 the size of the one that was at my smaller house. I can't convince the landlord that something is wrong. I'll have it set on 66 & it will be 80 degrees in here. The other day, it was 95 in here! He came & looked @ it when it was early in the morning & wasn't so hot. He had professionals come out here 3 times. The last time, they told us it needed replaced. But then he came & said it didn't. If there is a certain size or "specification" CH&A unit that is recommended for this size of a home, please tell me what it is & where on the unit I could look to find out what size the one that is here now is. I'd like to give him a professional's opinion. Thank you!

My best friend really needs to get into her boyfriend's locked briefcase. I know it's dishonest but it's important to her so it's important to me. Does anyone know how to pick the lock and get into the briefcase without breaking it??

Crazy enough, I lived in government housing for 5 yrs while I went to college. I had a garbage disposal in my apartment and loved it. Its the only thing I really miss about living in the welfare apartments.
Now I live in a small town and have a new septic with an aeriation thing on it. Will I be able to attach a garbage disposal to my sink without problems or should I just get used to not having one?

I have a huge yard and out of financial need I push mow my yard. It takes me 6 hours almost on a good day. This morning at 6:10 AM sharp, I was mowing. The neighbors look at me like I am nuts. I will probably buy a self propelled mower and a riding mower after I get out of debt next summer.
I have to say, my yard looks beautiful after I am done. I live on a corner on a hill, so I have to push mow a giagantic amount of hill out here. Its probably close to about 10 feet tall.
Would a self propelled lawn mower help me get the job done next summer? How does it work.

I have taken all the pipes apart from under the sink and they are clean and it still has a very slow drain. I have put chemicals down the sink and nothing is working! The plumber is asking for $300, so the idea of doing it myself is sounding real good! By the way, nothing else is backing up in the house except the plumbing around the kitchen sink. Help!!!!!

The drain is for the hose form the a/c to flow into, but since it's clogged, the water leaks all over the garage floor & into the next room where there's carpet. I don't know what to do to clear it out so it can drain properly & stop flooding on my carpet. Also, what is a good way to clean the carpet of the mold? Or is it ruined?

My property manager yelled at me for turning off the AC in my vacant NC home. She said it will form mildew and mold due to the high temperatures and humidity. Is this true? The home is a modern built home with no issues.

The AC bill runs $200 plus a month this time of year, so I thought I would turn it off. Is this a big deal or not. Last time I did this, the home seemed fine?

I'm in middle Ga. and it's hot as , well, you know....
My air never shuts off. It's set at 80.
I live in a modular home(fancy name for doublewide?)
that was built in 2002. This is our first summer in this home.
Our windows are tinted and covered with blinds and drapes and we don't fan the doors.
Looking for trouble shoot ideas before I have to pay somebody to come out here.
Thank you in advance for looking at my question.
Have a great day!

We have a hotwater system in the house. During cold season, while washing my face, brushing my teeth or shaving, I wait for hotwater to come, I know this is a waste of good water, but if hotwater came upon turning my tap, I would not need to waste any water. I do feel very guilty about it but have not been able to think of a solution. Can anybody help me?

I have a 15amp circuit breaker serving a circuit which connects 2 outlets in 2 different bathrooms. The only think attached to the outlet is a 4-watt night light.

Yet every other week this circuit breaker trips and upon a reset of it, power comes back to the night lights.

How do I fix this?
