Delta kitchen faucet model RP3614 about 8 years old? , I press sprayer, and water still comes out of the spout!
actually, some water comes out of the sprayer unit, but maybe half of what it should be, the rest some water comes out of the spout.
I have already changed today all the parts inside the faucet - including the cartridge ball, the o-rings, springs..everything in there.
not sure what else to try.
the hose looks like it just connects - screws in - underneath the faucet.
I am thinking if the hose is plugged, it may cause the water to also come out the spout, and cut the pressure out of the hose?
IS this possible, what else can it be?

thanks for your help.
Karim

I have two cable bicycle locks, neither of which I can use. I have in which the key is stuck in the lock and will not turn (nor can I pull it out) and I have another that while I can insert and remove the key, will not turn the lock. I have tried WD-40, baking soda and vinegar, and putting them in the freezer. One of the locks looks like it has some evidence of oxidized copper (greenish tint to the metal lock) if that helps. Thanks!

We have air bubbles coming from one of the toilets. They will not flush. When we run the washing machine, it floods the car port and backs up into the tub. We live in the city limits. The city has come out to check their lines and they said it is our problem. We had a plumber come look at it and he said that they may have to dig up the pipes in our yard. A friend of mine who lives in the area said they had the same thing happen. It turned out they had a septic tank instead of city sewer. My question is..we were told by the realator and the home owners that the home is on city sewer. If we find out that we indeed have a septic tank instead ( the whole while everyone in that house is paying taxes for city sewer) what legal action do we have? Will we be responsible for it? Has anyone ever experianced this before?

i have a gas water heater and it seems like when i turn on the cold water it is warm or it's cold at first and then gets kind of warm. when i want warm water, it seems to get really hot. i've heard that when the water heater is getting ready to go out, it gets extremely hot. is this true or is it a myth?

Previously I asked if we should be upset that our neighbors painted the side of our fence that is on our property that they look at when we were on vacation. We knew the fence needed painted and we planned to powerwash the fence to lighten. The stain they used (a dark color) would now have to be stripped off to change colors. We didn't want a dark fence and they just don't get why we are not pleased they painted our fence the color they wanted. When we talked to them, they said "At least we are not asking you to pay us back for what we spent". They used the most expensive stain there is and it will cost us over $400 to stain the fence. They just don't get it that it's our fence. My husband and I say they eat the cost of what they spent. What do you think?

We recently moved into a house that has an inground swimming pool. The pool hasn't been used in about 2 years. We drained the pool and were looking to re-open it with new water and equipment. We don't really know anything about pools. The pool is about 12 ft. deep at the deep end. About how much do you think it would cost to open this pool for the remainder of the season. And is it worth it.

I am on a well and septic system. Something about the water causes rapid degradation of the sacrificial rod. As it disintigrates, it creates a bad odor and taste. Removing the rod cures the taste but withiut the rod the life of the water heater can be substantially reduced. A stainless steel tank would possibly eliminate the problem. Glasslined steel always fails eventually. Sometimes in less than two years.
Is ther a cost effective cure for the problem? What causes it?
Water analisys shown no potential health problems from anything in my well water.

It is a very new toilet, and the water level in the bowl itself has always been fine. But lately when I flush the toilet the bowl will fill up just fine, but within a few minutes half of the water is gone (I can actually see the water geting lower) The Tank is fine. Its when the tank shuts off is when i see the water in the bowl drop.
Any ideas?
Thanks

I live on a dirt road therefore I bring a lot of sand in my garage from my tires. Needless to say, the sand builds up fast.

Does anyone have any tips or tricks that I can do in my garage to minimize the sandy floors? I know I could simply sweep every day, but what do others do who live on a dirt road? Maybe there is something that I can park on, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Ideas are appreciated!

Thank

I have a 2 foot long two tube fluorescent fixture that doesn't light immediately when turned on.

Any where from a couple of minutes to 20 or so after you turn it on both tubes suddenly light up.

No sign of blackness on ends of tubes.

I'm thinking ballast. Am I right?

Hi, we have a slimline Beko DE2431FW dishwasher, approx 18 months old. It seems to have 'froze,' there is no water going in to it, the button lights up as though it is washing, it sounds like it normally does before it starts washing but nothing happens? Any ideas anyone? Does it sound like a simple thing or do we need a new one? Its not blocked or anything like that and its been like it a couple of days now.........
