Sounds like the plug is bad or the mixture has been changed.
Those little fellas are picky about everything. Oh ya clean the air filter, change the plug. and when you start it does it have a 3 position choke. try running it on the mid position. if that helps it's the plug
If it is over 5 years old it may just need to be replaced as it is cheaper to get a new one than have the old repaired

Check the choke control and the air filter.

Check the filters. It is probably clogged some place.

Sounds like the muffler might be stopped up. If it clogs up with rust and stuff, it will do that
