Delta kitchen faucet model RP3614 about 8 years old? , I press sprayer, and water still comes out of the spout!
actually, some water comes out of the sprayer unit, but maybe half of what it should be, the rest some water comes out of the spout.
I have already changed today all the parts inside the faucet - including the cartridge ball, the o-rings, springs..everything in there.
not sure what else to try.
the hose looks like it just connects - screws in - underneath the faucet.
I am thinking if the hose is plugged, it may cause the water to also come out the spout, and cut the pressure out of the hose?
IS this possible, what else can it be?

thanks for your help.
Karim

Hi. I use to be a Customer Service Rep for Delta Faucets based in Central Illinois.. Have you tried replacing the diverter and the hose should be replaced as well. not sure why they just sent you the rp3614, S&S, o-rings, cam and packing with the allen key hole wrench. The ball didn't really have anything to do with it. You are still under warranty, ask about rp28900 in whatever color you have and depending on the type of faucet, one handle rp320 and for two handles it is a different on, looks like a white stick with four keys cut out to unscrew it with a quater. Also a pencil stream of water is normal, but most of the time you can cut that to lil drops to nothing. And besides the csr's have to send parts out twice, and if they don't work they have to send a new faucet. But make sure you don't use DANCO. Techincally it voids the warr. and also don't put any lube on the parts.

Actually there may be something else to change - the diverter valve that reacts to turning on water in the hose and slides to cut off the fauscet, which gets crudded up with lime. It looks like you have changed the water volume control parts. You might find a good fauscet place - if you were in Dallas, I would send you to Teters Fauscets in Lakewood.
It wouldn't hurt to take the hose off and run water through it with a hose.

You have already got the best advice to fix the problem, I was going to say low water pressure may be part of the problem. Good Luck!
