Drain the oil out - by putting gas in the oil, it thinned it out ( which isnt good) and can damage berings inside the motor. Lawnmower engines are typically a 'sling' type - meaning they 'sling' oil onto the major bering surfaces, unlike vehicles that have oil pumps to put oil under pressure where needed. Continually running the motor on the tainted oil will cause failure of the motor, from no lubrication.
Id use a heavy weight motor oil, like SAE 30 and an engine oil additive , like Lucas oil ( i use it). If its making metallic noises, well then its a matter of time before it destroys itself, rebuilding it isnt an option at that point, its better to locate a donor motor.

Way back a long time ago when there weren't all the technological solutions we have today we some times used varsol or a similar solution to clean out the parts of the engine that are lubed by the oil. We would drain the oil and put in a mixture of a small amount of light oil and Varsol and run it for 15 minutes to 1/2 hour. Gas wasn't used because of its flammability. The only danger was that if the engine was worn badly some of the gunk sludging up the engine was stopping it from burning oil.

This is a long story to ensure you that you have not caused your engin harm.

Hard to say how much damage you did. Once all of the gas is removed and the correct oil installed, see if it will start and run. Give it some time to clear itself up, you may have gotten lucky, if not, then there is always the choice to replace or rebuild the engine. good luck.

Probably not. You can tear it down an see if the cylinder wall is still in good enough shape to hone it. But your bearings, rings, wrist pin, etc. all probably need to be replaced.
It's usually cheaper and much less headache to get a new motor. You will get a warranty this way also.

These guys have about the cheapest motors I've found-

drain all the oil out, then fill it with new oil , it will sputter at first ( just to get the little bit that is in the line out ) but then it should run fine.

it should be ok, drain everything, flush it with some fresh oil and then fill it with fresh oil. clean or change the spark plug and you should be good to go..
