I have checked my superheat and subcooling. All perameters appear to be proper. I have adjusted the fan settings to automatic, incase the humidity was from the drying of the evaporater. But still, after the unit shuts off the humidity levels in the room climb to 75% in just minutes. Any ideas?

ok, so i cleaned the air filter, and i made the mistake of using water on it, instead of the air hose, i let it dry for awhile, and it set for about 24 hrs before running the engine, then i ran it and after 5 mins, it sent out white smoke, and i noticed oil coming out my air filter, so the engine took in water and it got in with the oil, what is the best way to clean it out, ive dumped the oil once, and put fresh in, that worked for a bout 10 mins, till it ruined a new air filter by getting oil all over that one too.. Thanks!

We had a tree cut down and the stump ground, however, he didn't quite grind it "level". There is a small mound; I've covered it with dirt. Should I just plant grass over it? How much dirt should I put over it and will it be hard to mow?

We have a natural gas line for our barbeque at the back of the house. I recently bought my first natural gas BBQ but I can't get the end cap of the natural gas line. It looks like it has been painted over. Any tips or ideas on how to safely remove this? Here is a picture of what a typical end cap looks like - www.atcogas.com/Safety/images/uncapped3.jpg .

i'm putting together a saw horse and for the top i drilled a 5/16" hole to fit a bolt through that holds the braces for the legs. the bolt doesn't fit flush to the top but the instructions say to counterbore a with a 3/4" bit to 1/8" deep. am i just drilling into my existing hole with a larger bit? or is there something more that i'm missing? thanks.

I'm familiar with the history and suggestions to replace Stab-Lok breakers by FPE, so there is no need to reiterate the above. I'd just like to know how many people are still using them, and how long have you had your panel/circuit breaker? Thanks

Hi, We're buying a house and the inspector pointed out that the main power line (from pole to house), is too tight. He said there should be a loop and there isn't one. The line is starting to pull the bracket from the house. Who is responsible for this? Do I call the Electric Company or have to hire an electrician? And if it the Elec. Co. Do they charge for fixing this? If so, any clue how much? Sorry, since it's our first home, funds are growing tighter with closing approaching, so just trying to budget for everything. Thanks!

can a home elevator be constructed outside the house in a enclosed shaft that resembles a brick fireplace and chimney that begins in the basement and extends upward to the second floor I was thinking that I could cut the concrete foundation for access in the basement and cut the framing on the first and second floors to access them also.Anybody out there that has expierience in this field please let me know if this is feasable.

Why aren't houses built strong, with cement and brick walls? Is it b/c it's quicker to build?

Why are they built so fragile? Is the wood cheaper than cement?

Why not have fences also made with a tough and long-lasting material other than thin wood that almost everyone uses and that deteriorates quickly?

When I see videos of hurricanes and tornados, the houses just fly away like paper...

We have had this hole in the sink for the past few weeks. No water is leaking out, but there is a whole about the size of a pinky finger in teh middle of the basin. What is the best way to fix it and still have the sink look presentable?
God bless, and Thanks

I was doing a nail fill and spilled some liquid monomer on it. It has tiny dimples in the area now and I tried scrubbing it and because I used a scrubbie in circular motions now there are scratches on it and the top of the finish has dulled. I don't know what to do. I cannot afford to buy her a new table, but I need to fix my mistake somehow. This table is from value city furniture and I have a picture here to show you. It says it is all wood construction, but it appears to have a black laquer finish on it (like the kind that is impossible to keep clean, even your fingerprints can get all over it, the shiny kind like that). What can I do? Is there a product that I can use to remove the scratches and restore the finish just in that one area? Any advice would be greatly appreciated! See photo below. Thanks!!!
