and stuff, is a new house but the furnace is so dirty. any suggestions? the blower is full of dirt as well... and fins are clogged....

Depending on how long it took the house to get built, more than likely the drywall was sanded and painted after the unit was installed and subsequently started up. Perhaps to either keep the house cool or warm.

If doing it yourself, I caution you. A toothbrush or baby bottle brush works to clean out the grime. And use a hosed vacuum to suck up the dirt. The blower wheel has counter weights attached to one or two of the fins to balance it. I caution you not to disturb or remove these weights. The blower wheel being out of balance can create a vibration, thus causing noise, potential premature motor failure, damage the blower wheel, and reduce efficiency.

It is important to clean out this dirt. Not only is it an indoor air quality concern, but dirt is the #1 cause of system failure and inefficiency.

remove blower, blow, wipe, brush off the dirt, reinstall. Or hire a pro

If you are in doubt, call a professional. I do my own, because i no what I'm doing. Been there, done that! Let me tell you it's a dirty job. Not for the mister clean!!!!!!!!!
