I have a pin hole leak in an almost new mattress. The patch didn't stop it. Any ideas on what I'm doing wrong?

The area around the pinhole must be dry and clean, clean, clean for the glue to do any good. Remove the patch, clean, and try again.

Clean around the hole with denatured alcohol to remove any oils that may be there. Apply the patch and make sure to smooth it evenly. I have even run some silicone caulk around the edges of the patch, smoothed it out and let it cure to stop leaks.

you could try super glue on the patch or just regular super glue it happened to my aunt once.
